“Noisy, Smells like raw sewage in hotel and the food is very poor”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

I haven't even finished my stay here infact i am only 2nights in and I'm already writing a bad review. Although the staff are very nice and speak good English, its not been good. Booked 4 rooms for family and friends for 7nights with breakfast, glad I didn't go full board. The "English" breakfast was drowned in oil or salt and tasteless. We are high up on the 4th floor but still every night we have been woken up by noisy street below including bin men and drunks. There is a mini recycling centre in the street below and all hours of the night can here smashing bottles as they are thrown in. And then there's the smell. The corridors, for no apparent reason, smell like raw sewage every so often, and I don't meant a faint hint, I mean as if you have fallen into a sceptic tank. The rooms with balconies don't seem to be affected very badly but a family member has an inside room which is completely unbearable, all their clothing now smells like toilet waste. I'm now spending my afternoon trying to find somewhere else to stay. HONESTLY DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, DONT BOTHER COMING HERE !

we've just had a lovely short break at this hotel. The hotel, room and common areas were all spotless! The staff were helpful and friendly. We had a small but lovely balcony with a sea view and we were ideally placed for the old town, which was the bit we were interested in. Another big plus, was the tapas bar on the corner where you get a glass of wine and a tapas for 1.20! What wonderful value! We made full use of that bar! Don't go into to the bar on the other corner, down the stairs by mistake, it's not nearly as good! If we ever go back to Benidorm, we would defo stay at the RH Sol again!

I had originaly booked in at the R H Internaciomal, but was moved to this hotel because the Internacional was closed for refurbishment!
What a surprise when I arrived!
It was like being greeted by an old friend!
Jayro, pronounced ( highro).who was the receptionist at the Internacional , was now here while it was being refurbed !
He was so understanding about my situation, as so were all the staff ! .
Racheal the manageress was also very helpful and the rooms that she gave me to choose of,were both good, but I chose room 406 as the view over the Med to "peacock island" was stunning!!
Service, food and staff all excellent, well worth a visit,I made some good Spanish friends who helped me with the little understanding of the Spanish language so much too !

Room Tip: Front rooms get the sun till about 10 am,while rooms on the 4th and 5th at the side you get it from...

stayed at this hotel for week in november, was moved here from hotel canfali 3 weeks before departure. the hotel isnt what is shown on internet pictures at all. outsde hotel very scruffy looking, down back street. we were given room 102 on first floor. very small verranda with no table just two chairs. we was overlooking the bins which woke us most nights as they arrived to empty them after midnight. very noisy position. although i couldnt fault the inside as the rooms were spanking clean. the bathroom lovely and the beds very comfortable. you get what you pay for when you book this hotel as they dont cater for english. i feel this is only catered for spanish holiday makers. position of hotel brilliant two minutes walk to beach and loads of coffee houses. absolutely brilli location. receptionist cery friendly and helpful, but it was a let down for me and my hubby, would definately not return to this hotel.

Room Tip: ask for room on the other side of the hotel.and higher floor.

Stayed here November 2012 this is Spanish only hotel they don't cater for English so beware.the hotel looks very scruffy from outside but it is kept clean inside and the maids made the beds everyday .its on a side street and is quiet noisy bin men come after midnight .but location is really good 1min from beach and 2mins into town .food was terrible we had to eat out everyday unless you like stewed pig trotters and lentils . In the week we was there they never once made chips .we was the only British couple in the hotel and if you got a coffee from reception we was charged more than what they charge the Spanish . Would never use this hotel again although it was clean it does not cater for British at all

It has been 20 years since we have been to Benidorm and we wanted a quick getaway so this was our option. The hotel Rh Sol is just off the front up a side street, a few steps to the excellent clean beach. On our visit the staff especially the manageress was extremely helpful when we needed to change rooms, this was because the view was overlookng the side street where all the bins are emptied at 1 am and is very noisy. The manageress gave us 2 keycards so we could look at the rooms she had available and then whichever one we liked we could have. The room we chose was 502 on the top floor still at side but less noisy.Very clean and spacious, the balcony was huge. The buffet meals were excellent with lots of choice at breakfast and evening meals with a free bottle of wine between us and bottles of water free too every night. The night entertainment was great seeing the likes of Shoewadawaddy, Taka that and Eagles alongside Sticky Vicky (not for the kids). The weather was hot and we relaxed on the beach, strolled along the boulevard and sat looking out to sea in the many bar's along the beach front. If you want somewhere reasonable but entertaining without the yobs in summer this is the ticket in Feb.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on 5th floor as lower rooms to side of hotel overlook bins and these are emptied betwe...
