Stayed here from 28th may till 11th june.Must say great hotel, food very good and to suit all tastes and staff very friendly.Rooms are spacious and air con works good.Only complaint i have about this hotel is the pool rules,no inflatables and no ball games not even soft balls. As there were 19 of us,all families, the children got bored in the pool.so be warned if you have children.Overall good spotless hotel and only reason i wouldnt return is the pool rules.

First real experience of ALL INCLUSIVE and of Benidorm and of poolside holiday and I was very well impressed, mainly by this super hotel. How do they do it for the money? On arrival, as I do, I asked about room upgrades and was told that all rooms were the same. Arrived at room which was spacious, had everything that we needed and all in the right place, including bidet. The beds were not the best and a bit low but they did their job. The room cleaners were excellent. The hotel, which is 3 storey, is on three sides of a square with pool and play areas inside the square which creates an amphitheatre, with sound rising to the room. This said, night times were peaceful. The bar staff were excellent and efficient. The restaurant was very good and food very acceptable, prepared and cleared by outstanding chefs and table staff. The entertainers, who knew every child by name and who their parents were, were similarly outstanding from 10am "Kid's Club" to their evening shows for adults, ending at midnight. The hotel is on the No: 10 bus route from Centro, with a "Stop" at the hotel door.
The only downside is the too loud music at the poolside, all day, which prevents reading or listening to info: on an MP3 and the world's most uncomfortable sun loungers by the pool.
I am used to the excellence of Asian 5* hotels and still this hotel made a very good impression..

Stayed here in May for 5 days. One large pool and a small paddling pool. Kids club really good with my kids of 3 & 5, may be due to not in high season. Food was reasonable and I am fussy but still room for improvement. Lovely fish, pastas and salads and yummy warm puddings with rice or custard and cakes, jelly etc. night time entertainment was funny with lots of quizzes and of course mini disco too. 10 minute walk up a road from main centre so if fed up in hotel a wee stroll ain't long to pub and shops. Wouldn't stay longer than a week but at the same time enjoyed a reasonably priced hotel...

All staff are professional & courteous. I can see why some guests felt the staff were rude or abrupt but really the whole team are just doing their job & sticking by the hotel rules. Cleaning is something they take great pride in & appeared to go on 24/7, one night I met a cleaner on my way to bed polishing the insides of the lifts! Food was great & gave us the opportunity to try new/different foods. My kids were disappointed to find pancakes on the breakfast menu only twice during our 1 week stay. Hotel room was nicely decorated, spotless & spacious even with the third bed. Pool area was always cleaned every morning pool water samples taken. The biggest pain was having to venture out at 8am to reserve sunbeds. Despite signs warning guests not to reserve sunbeds people ignored this & so, as the saying goes "if you can't beat them...". We opted to hire pool towels €10 each (refunded upon return of towels). We didn't venture to the indoor pool but I know they are strict with the wearing of swim caps - the lifeguard was vigilant! The bar staff worked very hard but I can't help feeling that it is wrong to have to join a massive queue just to get a drink of water for my daughter. One suggestion would be that all soft drinks & water could be obtained via self service. Tere is certainly a character - she reminded us of Carla (Rhea Perlman) from Cheers. My mother was suffering with a cold & cough so Tere made her a "bumba" which worked wonders! Tere - we love you! The hotel run kids club was enjoyed by both my girls (4yrs & 6yrs) operating from 10.30am until 1.30pm. The mini disco was also fun for them & they loved learning the dance routines to the songs. Lupe was very kind with the kids & made a fuss of them on our last evening - they loved her. All in all we had a great time at this hotel & would happily return (room 1114 & 1112) - well done to everyone at the Mediterraneo!

We are sitting in the lounge of the mediterraneo hotel benidorm having just eaten our evening meal.what can I say ......the grilled chicken was raw in the middle.it was disgusting. I hope we are still here tomorrow and not in hospital with salmonella poisoning. I witnessed the chef mixing up a bowl of raw chicken with his bare hands, throwing it on the grill then promptly lifting it off to serve to unwitting diners.........the rest of the buffet meal was not much better.we complain but were just fobbed off.as this was only our second day we are hoping things improve: watch this space

Hotel situated outside busy area of Benidorm- but within walking distance. Close to mundomar/aqualandia too. Very clean, great variety of food everyday-we didn't out out of the hotel once in 10 day stay! Staff very welcoming and friendly, and great with kids. Entertainment not so good but family orientated. This may be better in peak season.

Room Tip: We had a corner room which had massive terrace and balcony to the side which was great for the kids!

my husband and myself have just retuned from a week at the meditterraneo this was our second visit and was exactly what we were expecting the food was really good with lots of choices for each breakfast ,lunch and dinner and snacks during the day .there is a rule of one drink per card at the bars but how many can you drink at one time the hotel itself is spotless with towel and linen changes every day !!entertainment is not so good same two singers nearly every night , no bingo or quizzes but saying that the staff are great and helpful and thresea the bar person is fantastic always a laugh and a smile we enjoyed ourselves if visiting the benedorm palace across the road go over and book at the ticket office its the same price as the reps but you get your first drink free, drink prices in there are very reasonable.

Room Tip: rooms with a pool view are best
