“Amazing food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

The food was absolutely amazing, I ordered chicken pathia with garlic rice and it was honestly one of the best Indians I have ever had. The service was a bit on the slow side but there was an empty table in the place and we were in no rush so wasn't a big problem for us, plus the staff were very friendly.

“clay oven benidorm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

hi, went to the clay oven on st georges day the other week, what a restaurant, its v clean, staff brilliant and the food is to die for, we had popadoms, i had sheek kebab starter and when they brought it to the table the smell of spices was divine, i couldn't stop smelling it and the staff rushed over because they thought that there was something wrong with it which was not the case, it was lovely but not fiery hot, my wife had onion bhajis which were lovely, we had chicken khari which was delicious, prawn jalfrezi which my wife said it was one of the best curries she'd ever had, both had the special rices and chips, the beer is estrella dam which was ice cold, the service was exceptional they couldn't do enough for you, and to top it all the price was very good too, all that for £40 , we've paid more than that for rubbish before at other restaurants, can't wait to go again when we go back in september, DO NOT give this restaurant a miss, you won't regret it, many thanks for such a superb meal after a brilliant st georges day see you soon........................

“By far the most authentic indian food available”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

I have now possibly eaten my way through the entire menu and have to say i have never taisted indian food quite like it
even if there is a food item not on the menu, you can ask RAJNISH the owner and he will have the chefs combine it for you, if you have a crazy idea in your mind of mixing up a few curry items they will accomodate and incorporate for you.
Food is so fresh it might well be slaughtered in the back.
My rating is 10/10

“Pretty damn good for a holiday curry!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Great poppadoms and dips, brilliant food - non-greasy - fairly authentic. Not the best ever, but worth a visit... We are curry experts ;-)
