“Great Holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Another great week at Terralta. This was our 4th visit and we were lucky enough to have reasonably good weather for the time of year, early to mid 20's but with a couple of overcast/rainy days.

We were in block 4 and having stopped in the other blocks I would say that it is the best, it has a lovely view over the pool and beyond to the bar so is nice and peaceful.

We were a party of 6, and we had enough room in our 2 bed apartment which had everything we needed. Our teen kids are probably getting a little too old for the hotel now but our 8 year old loves it. Ideal complex for families with pre-teenage kids wanting a quiet, inexpensive break away.

Staff as usual were very nice. Thanks to Kirsty for keeping the kids amused. Thinking about booking again for Oct 2014 half term.

Stayed here for 1 week 25.10.13 with my husband and 3 children 10, 6 & 1. Apartments were spacious and well equipped but could have been cleaned a bit more often and towels changed etc. Staff were friendly enough but entertainment was not great at all so we would have gone out for a few hours and came back for the tail end of it. Pool was great but the children were not allowed any inflatables at all in the pool not even a ball which I thought was a bit odd? When u arrive you have to pay 30 euro per adult as a deposit for damage which you get back at the end and you also have to pay 5 euro per night for a travel cot!!! safe is extra also as is the wifi. The hill is quite a trek but we still walked it daily if not twice daily good exercise! BUT the area was not for me at all.....very built up and run down in places, the rank of shops at the bottom of the hill were all run by Chinese who quite literally stood over your shoulder the whole time u were there and everywhere in this rank closed at 9.00pm so it was like a ghost town. There is the main old town which is sooooo busy with locals and tourists alike I was constantly afraid of losing one of the children! Mundamar is a must trip for adults and families kind of like a seaworld/zoo with dolphin show which was amazing. All in all we enjoyed our holiday, the apartments were one of the best we have stayed in but Benidorm is not for me, locals were quite rude and unhelpful and the television show has it spot on..

Second time at terralta have to say this time had better outlook accommodation block three overlooking covered pool great sun most of the day and quiet
The hill OK when you get used to it not as bad as some comments good for anyone who wants a quiet holiday but also if you want the old town and the experience of the new its within easy reach the staff are very helpful suggest a trip on the train to Alicante short walk to the station and worth a look will certainly go again

Stayed at apartments oct 13 before half term hols for 4 nights first time in Benidorm and didnt fancy tower block hotel, arrived late evening and was warmly welcomed by reception.
Rooms clean and tidy and no complaints, pool area clean and ample beds, seperate adults only covered pool. bar area o/k didnt eat at restaurant so cant say.
15 mins walk to beach 20 mins to old town 40 mins to new town,
Be aware the apartments are on a hill which is quiet steep in places and about 1/2 mile from sea front area. There is a bus stop outside hotel but never used it.
The tapas bars in the old town are a must visit, went to see sticky vicky as told is a must visit (eye opener) and quiet funny.

we stopped at these apartments from 27-10-2013 for 4 nights
these are ok for familys but beware it is on top of a steep hill and if you have walking problems beware.
the rooms are ok and have all you need for self catering but the beds were very ucomfatable and very hard and the rooms did smell a lot of smokers and the drains
the staff are very friendly and always do there best for u
the pool is big but cold even after a very hot summer the sea was warmer
overall the apartments are good and cheap

Wife and I are just back from terralta pays and we were happy on arrival as it was quick and present.Apartments were fine, well cleaned and no complaints about the standard.Beds....different story, I can honestly say they were the most uncomfortable I have slept in.Reception staff very pleasant and always greeted you with a hello and smile. If you are staying poolside then get rubber mat for the beds, saves for a sore backside...only 1 Euro each per day.Now for the hill,it is there, but I believe If your reasonably fit its a good wee trek up and down to the front...elderly would struggle I think as I know my 70 year-old parents would, all in all worth what we paid for it and food wasn't as bad as some made out
