I have decided to write this as I can understand why it is so popular with stag and hen parties, seeing that I have just returned on my stag. I'm certainly not going to defend all stag/hen parties as I did chat with other people who had a real difficult time and I am certainly not saying we behaved like angels but we were respectful of others.
Check in was quick but we were asked to pay a 50 euro bond each. I don't know if this happens though so might be worth checking out especially if you are on a budget.
Apartments are of decent standard and actually a good size, the kitchen was decent and if you were using it then you would have a various appliances/equipment to use. However we were on AI so didnt need to use this.
Staff were very pleasant to us throughout and anytime we passed staff they would always say hello or goodbye, the most pleasant being the cleaner who was in everyday. There is a bar on the basement level but from what we saw it wasn't always opened and to be honest looked short staffed so if there was a queue the one bar person could have been helped by a second one. We didnt use the pool as it was (a) cold but to be honest looked dirty, however I'd imagine that once the better weather comes in it should improve.
A couple of small points but worth noting:
There are 21 floors and perhaps 7 appartments on each floor, if you are on an appartment ended in 04 then you will be opposite the lift so I imagine it will get noisy.
There are 3 lifts in total, each holding 4 so expect a wait.
There are 2 large doors to the hotel, I saw older people or those with mobility issues struggle to open it.
As it was AI we did most of our drinking and eating at the Marconfort Flamingo Benidorm and from door to door was 2 minutes. The bar and restaurant could be busy but staff always looked to serve you as quickly as possibly or get you seated. Food was OK but some interesting choices of dinner though have to say for us we weren't that fussy. Brekafast slightly repeatative however on the whole it was decent and we never had to eat out (well only on the way home from pubs!).
The restaraunt was open several times throughout the day and you are advised on checkin when it it open, a lift (with a key obtained from reception) is available from the bar to restaraunt if required.
Bar staff kept us in order, if we got noisy (and I know we did) we were told to be quiet or risk losing the AI, fine by us and we calmed ourselves down. When we went there were plenty of people on long term stays always telling us places to go and to be honest we spoke to a number of older people and had a laugh so we couldnt have been that bad.
So on the whole, it did what we expected, it was clean and somewhere to put our heads down so I can see why it is popular for stags and hens and if you were going as a couple/family then I can appreciate what concerns a large group could cause.
Maybe don't choose a room ending in 04 as opposite lift
