“Unhappy customer”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

We have just spent twelve nights at this hotel as we had had a great holiday there last year, very unhappy this time due to the fact that we were given one room with four beds in it with no privacy for my daughters friend who had travelled with us, due to this we have had to live out of suitcases on the balcony for the entirety of our holiday as there was absolutely no space, also very unhappy that all inclusive times have been cut to finish at 11pm (kids are also no longer allowed large drinks either)and to be told this was because people were getting drunk!!!!! (The hotel is still more than happy to clean up after Stag & Hen parties though). Would like to advise that the food and cleanliness of the hotel cannot be faulted but that this hotel badly needs a makeover (due to take place in Oct seemingly). We also found that the pool entertainment for children to be a lot poorer than last year and seems to consist of just letting everyone run riot whilst supposedly playing water polo, for our next holiday to Benidorm I think we'll trying another hotel.

Spent a week all inclusive here from 9th to 16th July as a group of 7 including my wife and 11 year old son and had a great time. Superb views from our 18th floor balcony and hotel is right next to beach and close to main square. It's a bit dated looking but very clean and I found all the staff to be really friendly, didn't have a problem getting served at bar. The food was excellent, all fresh and any empty trays were quickly renewed. You just help yourself to carafes of wine in restaurant. Would normally avoid all inclusive for fear of rowdy stag/hen parties and there were a few in but were well behaved, although I could see how one bad group could waste holiday. For what we paid it was very good value considering quality of food and would consider returning.

We have stayed in many hotels in Benidorm over the last 15 years as it has a lot to offer for everyone, not what you see on documentary.
But alas this year we chose the Dalmatas and never again you couldnt get sunbeds ,broken ones laying round the pool and other so packed tight you had to climb on from the end after you had climbed up the stone stairs to get to one ,dont know how older people managed .
Apart from Carlos one of the waiters who was always cheery and our maids who have a difficult enough job, the other staff were an unhappy lot and unhelpful.
On the third day of our stay about 50 under 16 year olds from Costa blanca football teams stayed at the hotel, who took over the dining room pushing and shoving and to cap it all some were in an adjoining room to us and kept banging on the door and shouting at us though the lock at night, needless to say the staff on reception were not interested.
So what was supposed to be a holiday after a difficult year would have been ruined, but we ate out with friends and still had a lovely time.
But no Thanks to Las Dalmatas .

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Los Dalmatas. It was perfect for what we wanted which was a cheap all inclusive girlie weekend away!

Buffet selection was amazing but the lifts were terribly slow!! Didnt spoil anything though.

This was our 3rd visit to Benidorm, we went as a couple with our 4yr old. I was worried after reading the views but was pleasantly surprised. I really do not know what people expect for their money, we had a brilliant deal and got good value.

Food was good, lots of choice and always something for everyone. They had themed nights. All staff VERY friendly and helpful.

Location was brilliant, couldn't have been better. Right on sea front and everything that you need on your doorstep.

Entertainment-awful. Mini disco for kids was not on till after 10pm, the singers very awful, but plenty of things locally going on. With a 4yr old we chose not to venture too far at night.

Room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was very basic and dated but ok. The lifts were very slow as people mentioned.

Pool is good size and has a lifeguard at all times. Not enough sun beds though and people were reserving even though it wasn't allowed which was very annoying.

We stayed for 10 days and until the 7th/8th day it was good. However while we were there lots of children arrived for the Costa Brava cup and it was complete chaos!! They were rude, unruley and did spoil our last few days when we were in the hotel. The hotel is predominately Spanish and I did find their attitude quite rude, no queuing etc.

We shall not be returning to Benidorm again. It was lovely, however feel we have had enough. Unfortunately the stag, hens and binge drinkers have changed the atmosphere there... I would go as a group but not as a family again.

We have just been to this Hotel for the third time and it has gone down in our books because we paid for an All Inclusive Plus through Jet2 so that we could have premium drinks only to be notified by the staff at the hotel that they no longer issue premium drinks as part of the all inclusive and that it would cost us an extra 17.50 euro per day for this benefit which also included a fresh cup of coffee. Very disappointed and will never return.

Room Tip: always try and get a room on the lowest floor.
