“3star not 4 star”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

Just returned from this hotel .. It was our 1st visit and more than likely our last:
The lifts they our so so slow we were on the 12th floor - most morning we walked down the stairs
The hotel is in need of a good overhaul.

The shuttle transfer was trying - it took 2 1/2 hours to fly from Manchester to ALICANTE AND
4HOURS FROM Alicante to Benidorm. So it looks like we will not go back unless the transport improves.

Just recently back from a 4 day all inclusive break with 15 mates.
Hotel fine, no major complaints from anyone of us, only one minor issue and a very monor issue, the lifts, in need of updating, very very slow.
Pool area okay, medium size, could imagine if we had gone in peak season it would be busy. Snacks served at the pool bar, usually burgers, suasages, pizza and chips, 2 drinks per person per visit rule at the bar. (note; if you pay an extra €2 a day you can up grade to brand name drinks, but it has to be per room so all the occupants have to pay not on an individual basis).
Didn't bother with the entertainment on the evening so can't comment on it.
Room fine, just somewhere for us to sleep and dump the cases, we had 3 single beds in the one room,(would be a bit cramp if for a large family though), bathroom quite large, fridge, tv and a safe in the room, seemed to be cleaned daily as well. Air con was a bit hit and miss, worked only when it felt like it.
Food was good and plentiful not one of us had any complaints.
Location was spot on less than a minutes walk to the front, and within a steady walking distance to the pubs!
Staff mostly happy (must have been a long season for some of them though!), cleaners friendly.
Overall we were all exremly pleased with the Hotel, so much so we're going back next year.

We have just come back from honeymoon at the Dalmatas (this was our 2nd visit to this hotel) once again we have no complaints apart from the lifts lol. My wife uses a walking stick and we asked for the same room we had last visit as it was on the first floor. When we arrived at reception we were told that the room we had asked for was occupied, they gave us a room on the 3rd floor and advised us not to unpack as the next day the room we had asked for was to become available and we could move rooms. Excellent staff throughout the hotel and very hard working.
The only disappointment was we learnt Robert had retired (the restaurant manager and a real character) But his replacement was equally friendly.
We will be returning to this hotel next year and can't wait, we love Benidorm and this will be the hotel we will be sticking to.

Room Tip: Low floor :)

We arrived here just before the schools broke up for the 6 wk hols. I have to say that the bags off the plane and transfer to the hotel was very good. The hotel itself is a little dated, but is clean however the rooms are very small and there's not enough room for clothes and a family of 4 in one room. Apart from this the hotel is o.k , but the best feature is the food. As we went all inclusive we wondered what it would be like as different hotel operators, offer slightly different things ie, if u want imported spirits you are best to upgrade to a blue covered band and then you can drink whatever you want. The food here was fantastic and very good value for money. On a couple of occasions I was spoilt for choice as there was delicious Parma Ham, Lamb Chops and Paella, what to eat?! There is something for everyone - even the fussiest of eaters could find something here and that's no exaggeration! Ignore the bad reviews on here you will love it and as I said earlier it's very good value for money - Enjoy!

Room Tip: Do not stay above the third or forth floor as when the lifts aren't working well - this is a com...

For two forty something couples a trip to Benidorm fits with its range of bars and clubs with eighties music. This is the second time we have been to this hotel and like the first visit the rooms were clean and functional, the staff are friendly and attentive. Good fun around the pool and at night with like minded guests. Food not great this time though. Best for couples and friends looking for a lively hotel. Not for children though.
Only yards from beach.

Room Tip: Lifts can be crowded so you might prefer a low floor. We liked the higher level rooms for the great...

8 of us celebrated a 50th birthdays at this hotel. We had one room on 4th floor, small but adequate for 2, one up on 10th floor, and one on 11th with fantastic views over the whole sweep of Benidorm Bay! Food was plentiful, well presented and suprisingly good! All staff were brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay despite the slow lifts - we often went down to the next floor to either go down, or catch the 'evens' lift up to 12 and walk down to our room - 'odds' lifts being the slower! The pool is fine, but personally, I prefererred going to the beach to experience the small shoals of fish swimming through the legs!! Watch out for the marble promenade, as it gets washed overnight and is very slippery if still wet in morning, as I found out when I fell. A WORD OF WARNING - ONE OF OUR GROUP BOUGHT A PACK OF CIGGARETTES AND PACKED THEM IN TO HER SUITCASE, PADLOCKED AND STRAPPED UP TO COME HOME. BY THE TIME IT WAS COLLECTED IN BRISTOL AIRPORT, THE ZIP HAD BEEN FORCED WITH A BALLPOINT PEN AND THE THE CIGGARETTES STOLEN. Bit of a co-incidence that it was the only bag targetted?? Perhaps as it goes through the X ray machine in Alicante???? WHEN MY FRIEND TRIED TO REPORT IT, SHE WAS TOLD TO RING ALICANTE AIRPORT!!
THANKS EASYJET FOR YOUR HELP!!! - NOT!!!

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views, but remember the lifts are terrible! Hotel is good as it's not...
