I'd decided to take my 13yr old daughter away for New Year for a change. We'd originally been booked into the Magic Monika but this was closed for refurbishment so on arrival we found we'd been upgraded to a suite with seperate living room (all very comfortable) and also were given "Gold" cards enabling us to have imported drinks too if we wanted.
The hotel is ideally situated close to loads of gorgeous shops and only 5mins walk from the beach.
The food was excellent with a huge choice and something for everybody. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they had a lot to put up with, what with the annual invasion of Spanish pensioners on their Government paid holidays. Some of those pensioners were downright rude and cantankerous.
We spent our evenings in the Magic Cafe, thanks "Him & Her" for excellent entertainment and a warm welcome.
The weather was warm but not really sunbathing weather but there is plenty to do and see. The Magic chain lays on a bus that you can use for free and visit any of the hotels in the chain to use their facilities and eateries.
New Year was brilliant. The meal was excellent and they'd seperated us from the Spanish pensioners which made it much more relaxing not having to fight through them to find a table. The champagne flowed and we got to celebrate midnight twice, once for Spanish time and then again an hour later for GB!
Overall this was an excellent holiday and as long as you ignore the behaviour of the pensioners, you'll love it!!
