We have stayed at the Venus 6/7 times and we thoroughly enjoy it, the rooms are nice nd clean and clean towels every day, we have stayed for 3/4 Christmas's and we enjoy it, ok the food is lovely but not like our Christmas dinner but even for a fussy eater like myself I enjoyed the soup and also the dessert it was lovely, all in all we really enjoy staying here and it is very central to all ameneties so suits us, firendly and helpful staff also will definately be staying here again and again

Room Tip: in the winter months the rooms facing the sun are excellent, in the summer we like being above the b...

A trip to Benidorm was apprehensive I have to say.
Stayed at the Hotel Venus greeted by reception, room not so big but very adequat for a four night stay, food was more than excellent & plenty of choice & quantity.
Sevice in the dining room was 1st class ( the remaining 1/2 bottle of wine would be looked after for the next evening that was nice ) as was service from the bar.
Any queries or help we required from all staff members was forthcoming.
All in all I would be very dissapointed could I not book this hotel again on my next visit in September 2013

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the pool with a small balcony very nice for a coffee or a relaxing pre dinner d...

Great stay in this hotel over christmas and new year. Staff very friendly and entertained us with a dance routine before our christmas lunch. Hotel clean, warm plates and hot food which was appreciated. They made lovely soups, the best I have tasted. Room small, but clean and cosy with walk in shower, lovely sunny balcony no complaints at all.
Bar staff also very friendly and kept the bar clean.
The hotel is the best one I have stayed in for clearing away plates and resetting tables so promptly. The staff worked so hard to keep the hotel clean.
Good show at the Benidorm Palace which was complimentary from Servigroup.
Would definately return to this hotel if I went back to Benidorm.

Room Tip: Higher room will give you longer time in the sun in the winter time

Stayed in the Venus over new year and it has some very good points. I have to say that the staff were some of the friendliest i have ever come across in a hotel. Everyone was no nice and helpful, definitely couldn't fault them. We got a free ticket for Benidorm Palace, because we were staying there, which is pretty good, saves a bit of money, we had been before so hadnt planned on going back but as it was free we went, it was a nice night out.

The hotel is near to all the amenities, and just across from the market. We normally stay nearer the old town which i prefer but this is great for those who prefer the new town.

The food was ok, nice enough, i am a picky eater and i always found something to eat, and enjoyed it, with the exception being the Gala Meal on New Years eve. We were really dissappointed by it. I was trying not to compare it to the one in the hotel we normally stay in at New Year which does an amazing Gala Meal because the other hotel is a 4 star so would expect it to be better, but we have also stayed in the Helios across the road from the Venus about 6 yrs ago at New Year and they are also a 3 star and i much preferred it. There were a lot of people in the hotel so there were 2 sittings, so we were at 6.30pm which i found very early for a gala meal..any gala meal i have been to in benidorm has normally finished by 11pm at the earliest (which usually gives us time to get to the square for the fireworks at midnight), but second sitting was at 9pm so we knew our dinner was going to be over well before that. There was a very nice cocktail reception before the meal, and the canapes were really nice, i wish i had eaten more of them cos i really didnt like the meal. I am picky so i accept the fact that there may not always be something that i like but i thought the main course was a very strange choice, it was capon with what appeared to be something like Foie gras in the middle. I had the soup which was nice enough, i didnt have the fish dish as i don't like fish and i tried the main course but just couldnt eat it, and i had the dessert which was ok, nothing great. I know you cannot please everyone but it wasnt just the food, there was absolutely no atmosphere. It was like they were trying to get you out asap...and i understand there was another sitting but after the other Gala Meals we have been to in Benidorm this was just a let down. YOu did get free drinks with your meal, then after that it was 2 for 1 in the bar (it was 2 for 1 everyday and it did save quite a bit of money and the drink was reasonably priced) then apparently it was free drink after 10pm.

Most people we spoke to said they didnt eat much of the meal but they said that afterwards in the bar the atmosphere was great, we didnt stick around, we went to the old town, but the feedback from after the meal was pretty good.

My only other negative was i never felt that my room was cleaned very well...i appreciate that the staff do not have a lot of time to clean each room but i wasnt overly impressed. It all looked ok on the surface but once you looked a bit closer you could see it was in need of a very good clean.

When the hotel is busy it is a bit of a nightmare getting the lift...you have to stand for ever, and as we were high up we didnt fancy walking up all those floors, but we did often walk down.

This really isnt a bad hotel, in fact pretty good for a 3 star in Benidorm, not sure if i would stay again just because i prefer being closer to the old town, but if the price was right and i was looking for somewhere i would consider it, although i wouldnt attend their Gala Meal again. I would give this hotel 3 and a half out of five but as you can't i gave it 4 cos i thought 3 was a bit mean.

Dear guest,

We would just like to say thank you for your comments of which we have taken note.

With reference to the New Year’s Eve meal, like every year, each course is specially chosen by our professional and experienced chefs within the Hotel Servigroup and thus receiving numerous comments from our satisfied clients.

It was our intention to provide all our guests with a more Spanish Christmas meal by serving capon and vary the meal, instead of the usual traditional steak, for that reason we decided to serve “puff pastry of capon with foie and caramelized apple”.
Unfortunately, despite the fact that it was prepared with the utmost care, we now realize that it was not to the liking of everyone’s tastes and that a different choice of dish would have been preferred.

We sincerely apologise for all inconvenience caused and for not reaching everybody’s expectations. We would like to reiterate our apologies and concern as it was only our intention to provide a more satisfactory meal for everyone and we assure you that all comments have been noted for the next New Year’s Gala Dinner.

This will assist the improvement and development of our company in which attention and customer satisfaction is our main goal. We hope to see you again in the future.

Kind regards,
Customer Service.

Had a geat break in Servigropup Venus. Staff were very friendly an helpful. We were there over Christmas and the Christmas Dinner as was all the food was exellent . Lots of choice too. We have young boy of 2 and a half, and he was treated like a prince. Nothing was any troube at all, and the waiters were faling over themelves to get a high chair etc. Also in a great location near to bars and the beach. Great little play area with slides etc. Was very impressed. If this hotel had a gym, it would be classed as a 4 star.
