After reading the various reviews and trying to remember the hotel from my previous holidays to Benidorm, I was not expecting too much. Being a timeshare owner in Tenerife and Florida, used to 5* accom and treatment (Snob I know) I was more than happy with the value for money of the hotel and it's facilities. Like I said, I wasn't expecting much so wouldn't be disappointed. The food was very good, and Sandra Sweetiepie!! was great trying to fill peoples days with various games and activities. The choice of drinks and the 24 hour Bar was a bonus and all the staff were more than friendly and helpful. People were constantly cleaning and keeping the place tidy, and although the hotel would benefit from a major facelift, it's the services, facilities and the people who make your holiday an enjoyable experience. My wife and I had a thouroughly enjoyable stay and would definately go back.

This was our third visit, we had heard the hotel had been closed in September for refurbishment, but it still looked the same to us. Check in was quick as we were the only two off our transfer coach. Staff at reception and throughout the hotel are very friendly. The bedroom was o.k. although no English t.v as advertised. The bathroom, as in previous visits, was not very nice. The enamal on the bath had worn away, the grouting around the tilers was black and the tiles on the floor were cracked, also there were various bodily hairs from previous guests on the floor. We met some lovely people, we also came acrosss the type of person we would normally cross the road to avoid, every other word [--] or [--], and saying it loud enough so everyone could hear. The food was good, always something to choose from, The fiesta was on while we were there, fantastic parade and firework display. We will not be going to this hotel again though, out of all in the Magic group, it probably has less spent on guests comfort than any of the others. This visit was more noise not just from the nearby clubs but from inside the hotel itself. I think we were the only two from darn sarf, as we were discribed, everyone else was from upt north or Scotland or Wales, maybe we are soft southerners, but there is only so much of "we are having a gang bang we are having a ball " that we could take. We love Benidorm, and will be going again , but maybe somewhere more upmarket, hope this does not make us sound snobish, as we are really down to earth people.

i spent a week in magic hotel villa de benidorm from the 11th ocotber to the 18th oct 2008.

when we arrived from the out side it basicly looked a dump (needs a repaint to be truthfull) but as soon as u hit the out side sitting area and reception were outstanding. it looked friendly and clean. The staff at reception were welcoming and friendly.

Our room was situated on the 5th floor. when we got to our room it was very nice, it was a bit small for 3 people but it made it more comfey and more at home. the room had a high standard and did have alot of stoage space for the size of the rooom. the toilet was out of this world very clean and fresh looking. we had a pool view room and it was very nice to wake up to and listen. The rooms were cleaned daily by the maid. the maid is very nice and does a great job aqnd comes back if ur busy in ur room.

the pool area was very nice too. at the start of our holiday the pool had a lot of leaves due to the time of year but by the first couple of days it was cleaned and stayed cleaned for the remaindor of the holiday. for the time of year there was enought sun loungers to go around. i can imagine it must be mental during the hot summer.

we were all inclusive holiday deal. the meals were lovely all fresh cooked and different each night. i was 120% happy with the meals. Alcohlic drinks on the all inclusive deal is a bit of a con... it was only certain drinks u could get on the all inclusive the rest u have to pay for or u can pay more money and upgrade to a gold card n u can get all there.

the hotel is situated central to every were beach, shops, market , pubs and clubs.

i didn't get teh chance to do much of the activites or see the entertainment orgonised but they all seemed good and was well advertised.

i will defanatly be returning to this hotel!!

i was at this hotel for a fornight with my family there was 11 of us altogether,when i got of the bus the rep says there is your hotel there i could not believe my eyes anyway my partner says it will prob be better when we get inside well that was just a JOKE....

Got to the reception and some of the memebers i was with there rooms where ready,but as for my room and my mum and dads rooms they were not ready i am disabled and so is my mum and dad anyway got told to put our luggage in the so called gym which was filthy and smelly anyway dont really want to speak about that as if makes me feel sick thinkings about it,anyway we go down to the restraunt still in our traveling clothes gets down there and realized the air con did not work we had a bit of food and i had to go up the stairs to the bar as it was to hot down there.

finally after a few hours we get our rooms after complaining that much to the recepionist get our cards and room number gets into the room and there was an awful smell of sewage,then discover there is no balcony was a JOKE,wardrobe doors kept falling of and the third time it near broke my sons toe so told the rep about all this she came to my room with the receponist and said they would be fixed then she said that the smelt the sewage as well and i was told to run water in the beday never heard so much rubbish in my life and the rooms were meant to be no smoking well when i opened the window it was full of cigarette ends which was there till i left...

I can go on and on about this holiday as i paid a lot of money to go there they should have paid us to stay there, i have put a letter of complaint to the travel agent and i wont be letting it go till it is resolved,i have got some pict too.
