You can see from my previous reviews that i have stayed in what should have been some impressive hotels. I have paid £3000 per week for some and then came Benidorm. All I expect is cleanliness, good food, good entertainment and everything within walking distance. This hotel has it all. My parents are extremely well traveled and have booked this hotel for 3 weeks, my daughter is coming back for a stay with her boyfriend. In short the beds are very comfortable, there is no sound from other rooms, the balcony doors shut out noise, the drinks are cheap and quality, the food is excellent, the entertainment is brilliant John the fiddler was exceptional. The pool is very cold drinks can be ordered by phone by pool ( if the pool cold so what paddle or go to beach) it's so clean you could eat off the floor. The staff are great even the one bar tender who was a bit grumpy (you know who you are when you delivered very good room service BLT and 2 orange juices ) was sweet and like the cold pool it didn't matter.
Location o.k Wed and Sun turn right 100 mtrs to right of hotel is the open market OMG don't take shoes, 100 mtrs to left indoor market for a bit of Serrano ham and cheese for your fridge.
Shop opposite to right looking out at end has Cava for 5 euros to put on your fridge milk etc take a travel kettle for your room. Safe 15 euros a week that's cheap!! sip your Cava whilst you sit on your ample balcony and watch the world go by.
The entertainment around the hotel is amazing, yes my daughter and I did the strip and didn't come in until 4am and it was well worth it. Out of the hotel turn left and 100 meters to left is the strip Morgans bar (Neptunes for Benidorm fans) is brilliant we saw Black Eyed Peas and Bay City Rollers. Benidorm old town is straight down strip you can see the sea from the hotel. Once you reach the front head right. Stop in the Casablanca if your feeling sophisticated and the Tikki bar for loud rock music. To be honest all the bars have something to offer and it's so cheap. Head for Tapas alley turn right off promenade head left and where old town forks take left and right you can have a variety of tapas and cava for 20 euros the Winston Churchill Pub overlooks the Tapas alley. Try the Gin and Tonic cocktail bar it's amazing the Negroni is lethal.
I must say that Benidorm has a lot to offer and the Riviera Beach is exceptional. My daughter and I would sit and people watch in the afternoon in the sun ( even though they have aircraft engines to cool you down) they have a gin and tonic menu. The terrace is decked with polished wood decking, you can walk on with bare feet, tenting is pulled over the top of you, music plays, people walk by wishing they were staying at this hotel.
JUST LUSH I LOVE THIS HOTEL AND WILL GO BACK
