5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Stayed at this Hotel last year, as others have said this is a very friendly and clean Hotel. All the staff are very attentive especially the receiption staff, husband had problems connecting to wi fi went to them three times and got it sorted with no problem they were really helpful. Price of drinks very reasonable for a Hotel, cocktail of the day was only 4 euros. The food we could not fault especially the soups and the desserts. We have booked 4 rooms for next July and look forward to staying at this Hotel again.

Great location , great staff , good food cant put great as we went 2 weeks & as usual you get fed up after a while , we were full board lunch was excellent & very useful as we had several late nights so missed breakfast , the terrace at front is also very good , music on most nights & price of alcohol is reasonable even compared to pubs opposite , room is clean & modern ,
Not giving a 5 rating as THE POOL is the let down , very small & doesn't get sun until after 1pm , loungers start getting the sun nearest to hotel after 12 , but its not a pool you would be able to have a good time around , again the hotel can only use the space they have & this is what they have been able to do , we found the Secret fountain which is a terrace bar , lovely & you can use their loungers to sun bathe , its next to the Miramer hotel ,

Room Tip: If possible get an even numbered room as they sit on the right of hotel which will gets the sun most...

This hotel is perfect and cannot disappoint anyone. I've been to benidorm loads and this is the best hotel I've stayed in! No hesitations, just go! The hotel was always clean to a very high standard. The food was amazing and the staff were just so helpful and lovely.

Visited the Riviera in June...what can i say other than FAB! sooo clean, Immaculate, so much glass & chrome and not a fingerprint !! Loved the strawberries & champers in the morning, and could not fault the Dining at all. staff in the restaurant make you so welcome, and went out of their way on a few occasions.
I'm convinced they have 24hour cleaners on the go !! Just Beautiful. Ideal for a romantic break too.
I returned to Benidorm in August & tried FLASH a bit further up, also adults only 4*, also Immaculate in every way, but Riviera 'Dining' is much better & seems to have more atmosphere.
So, I am returning to Benidorm with a different friend next week (sep) and booked into Riviera again...10/10.
Both hotels are Fab... but Riviera gets 1st place for me !!
You WONT regret staying here.

Myself, my partner and my parents stayed for 11 days at end of August. it was our first stay in benidorm. On first look the hotel was very good, bright, airy and clean. We got to our rooms and had got what we requested for when booked, high floor, quite room and sunny balcony. All hotels we stay in we like afternoon sun but this hotel would be an exception, at the pool area the sun does not start to shine until 1.30pm and is away by 6pm although it wasn't a problem getting sunbeds. The location of hotel is great about 3 minutes around corner and all the entertainment is right there, the beach is about 8 minute walk and sunbeds are 4euro a day and same price for an umbrella. The food in restaurant, compared to other all inclusive/full board hotels the selection is very limited and i am not a fussy eater at all, sometimes i did find it hard to choose something, tho what they serve is a good standard and deserts are fantasic! Service was very slow on days that we had to ask for drinks and clear our own table up! A huge down point for us was there was nowhere to eat outside everything is indoors and for us especially on holiday having somewhere to have breakfast lunch and dinner outdoors is a must! Rooms are very clean not large by any means but of an adequate size. You can rent towels from hotel, i tried to research this before we went and could not find an answer, i didn't ask how much it was but it would be refunded to you anyway. overall hotel was good would give 3.5/5 but seeing as that wasn't an option i downgraded to a 3/5. For anyone thinking of going to benidorm for the first time i would definitely recommend the old town as it is a bit more upmarket and still very cheap and really beautiful also a trip to altea is definitely worth it, beautiful authentic spanish town.

Room Tip: Odd numbers afternoon sun, even numbers for morning sun but as sun doesn't come out until aftern...

I've been to Benidorm half a dozen times over the years and this is probably the best hotel (accommodation wise) I've visited in all that time. I can't add too much to some of the praise afforded the hotel already other than to say that you should believe the hype. Everything was immaculate, everything that we needed was there, it was central to everything and I never usually bother mentioning the staff but they were incredibly helpful to a dimwit like me who can never figure out how to work the safe properly. Slightly more expensive than I'd normally opt for but totally worth it. Can't comment on the food as we were not eating there.

Room Tip: Higher the better, don't forget your key though or the lift won't operate! They will give yo...

Location: The hotel is located near all amenities bars, restaurants, shops, and a fantastic blue flag beach. The hotel is about 45 minutes drive from the Alicante airport. A taxi cost 65-70 euro one-way and beats waiting on a bus. The bus can be booked on-line through alpharooms.com for 12-euro return drops and picks up at front of hotel.

Price: For the standard it was a fair price; we booked through alpharooms.com and saved a few bob.

Room: Spotless, good walk in shower, mini bar, TV, with English channels. Great sleep in the beds, and rooms are sound proof. Bedding changed daily and rooms are cleaned daily.

Security: A high standard, safe in rooms for small charge, swipe card in lift and room door, 24hr reception. We felt safe and Benidorm is fairly safe to walk about at night.

Food: Fair standard, plenty to chose from and the deserts and ice cream are fab. If you can take full board it cost about £30 a week extra and worth it. Food can be of works/school canteen standard not what I would expect a 4 star hotel needs to improve in this area.

Pool: Not the best I have seen, and the sun does not hit the pool till about 230 and there can be a shortage of sunbeds/umbrellas but we were at the beach most of the days, so not a big negative.

Staff: Cannot do enough for you, very customer focused and the dining/bar staff were great.

Entertainment: The hotel has a fantastic outside bar with nighty entertainment. In addition there is live entertainment on your doorstep bars clubs.

Overall: This hotel is gaining a good reputation in Benidorm, and is always fairly well booked out. The hotel has a great outside bar with fairly cheap prices. Great place to sit and watch the world go by, the hotel has a no children policy, so it is very peaceful, if you are thinking of booking, I would definitely book, you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: TIP: If you eat out one night try the Clay Oven Indian Restaurant, 3 min walk from the hotel best c...
