“Baffled...but have to speak as I find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2014 via mobile

We stayed here with a large group of girls spread over 3 apartments..apart from having to find them then having to find the keys which are located elsewhere...they were a fab place to stay...I am baffled to how anyone could break in the doors are deadlocked to the hilt and the outer doors are also locked....are people getting so drunk they aren't locking them properly? I'm not sure...if it was an inside job surely the people would be easy enough to be caught? :-(

As was written below. All I can add is that the deposit wasn't paid back either due to having to pay for the broken lock that was broken by the thieves.
How the thieves manages to get in the LOCKED perimeter fence and then into the LOCKED door into the lobby is anyone's guess.
My guess is that some dodgy bugger has a key and uses it to rob things. Regularly too by the sound of it.

Right where do I start..............would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone, for starters it's not even called residence benidorm it's called torre oboe apts, as we arrived the transfer bus dropped us at the wrong hotel we then had to walk around for 45 mins looking for a post office where we had to sign and pick up keys for the apartments, not only did we have to sign for the apartments but each apartment needed €300 euro deposit paid for on a credit card, once all that was sorted it was then another 45 min walk to the apartments but once at the apartments as you can see there is 2 towers, but which tower is your room in!!!!!!!!!! Another half hour later and you in your room, when your in the room there nice clean and good views and in my opinion that's where you should stay!!!!!!!! As we all went out one night we came back to find a room had been broken into and everything taken, clothes money phones and even passports, so if your into all the above then this is the place for you.......enjoy

stayed here june 2013 had a brilliant stay i would highly recommend this place its very clean tidy modern and so central the view over benidorm from your room is amazing you can actually watch the sunset the beach and town is a 5 min walk away this place mostly had a stay of stags and hens when i was here but would be ideal for families also as there is no bar and a strict policy of no drinking next to the pool we had a small carryout with us and where told as long as we where quiet we could drink them
there is a life guard by the pool all day also
the only down side of the stay was we had to leave a very very high deposit of £200 euros!!! the room also gets checked before you leave and get your deposit back any damage done gets taken off your deposit

Room Tip: I recommend staying high up for the view and the balcony is larger on the top floors

This is a very good apartment! Great price and very spacious and clean! Kitchen and living area very nice and has an English TV which is very nice. We had 4 people in an apartment and there was plenty of room with a room with a double bed, and one with a twin. Outside has a clean pool, and the only faults with that is that the outside has grass and soil which does not mix as well. It also has a tennis court which is nice and we did use it. There is also an indoor pool which is lovely! Its fairly warm and proves useful when the weather is a bit chilly. The apartment is just across the way from a bar which has very good priced drinks. The beach is a mere 800m away and is lovely. It is 5 minutes away from some night life and tapas bars e.t.c... If you are flying from Alicante airport it takes about 30 minutes via Taxi, and perhaps a bit further for Bus.

It seems this venue managed to get TA to wipe its slate clean and start again!

There were loads of reviews 100+ with a lot of negative feedback. Not sure as to why or how they have got them all removed.

A lot of posts regarding alleged theft, and pool area that is policed like a prison yard. As well as a 200 euro deposit and issues in getting it back.

Our experience was OK (Apart from the Pool) and we are booking Benidorm again, I had only noticed as I looked back for my review, which has now vanished.

We stayed here in for the 1st time the apartment is modern clean and spacious for four people sharing we loved it. Great location to the main strip so no need for taxis its great!.
Close to all clubs and pubs for cheesy fun and you cant spend your money there its great value.
The beech is about 800m from the apartment and plenty of breakfast bars to eat in.
