“Rocamar-vellous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012

We and friends spent three very enoyable nights at this hotel in May. It is modern. clean and centrally located in the old town, The staff are freindly and attentive. It is family run and informal. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of hot and cold dishes, It is close to bars and beaches. Free safety deposit and able to keep room as we had a late f[ight It represented excellent value for money and we would certainly return

Just got back home from a 4 night stay at the Rocamar (already booked return for September and March). From time of arrival, the people at this family run hotel were very nice and always willing to help in any way possible. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. Breakfast very nice, although continental....pleanty of variety.

Yes, it can get a little noisy over the weekend, but we were there during 'pink' weekend which was very busy and still with shutters down heard very little from outside.

Would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the fourth floor have large balconies to sit on.....these are only available to book direct...

Ok so lots of people have written about how good this hotel is, and there is really no more to add but the family who run this little hotel deserve the credit and good reviews, I booked it because of good reviews on trip advisor so here's mine to add to the pile.
The hotel is in a good location, the only thing to add here is that to park a car on a good secure car park it was seventy five euro for the week....but this has nothing to do with the hotel but it's worth knowing as there is no parking at the hotel. The rooms are lovely, very modern so if you like carpets fabrics and curtains look somewhere else. Think ikea and your there. The rooms are clean and comfortable, not luxury but good enough to use as you need to. There was very little noise at night except for Fridays when the local gay community seem to come out and enjoy the local bars etc.......the hotel is right in the centre of the gay area so if this isn't your bill you have been told...
Breakfast was excellent and yes you do only get one coffee...it's a nespresso machine but if you ask you will get another one !

All in all this is a great hotel, nothing to complain about at all and the family running it do deserve to do well, I would go back here no problem. I paid 263 euro for a week for two in a superior room...well worth it.

Room Tip: Ask for a superior room it was only six euro a night extra and had a nice balcony.

Very quiet although situated right in the heart of the Old Town, very clean, nicely renovated (boutique hotel style). Delicious home-made pastries for breakfast!
