The correct name of the restaurant is "The Vagabond" and the address is: 17 Carrer de la Palma. It can be found tucked away in the old town, and if you cannot find it, then ask because it is very worth finding. Frederique(Freddie) & Mary will make you very welcome to their intimate little resaurant. They are both excellent hosts, and if you go once, they will always remember you.
The food Freddie serves is very unique, indescribable and unforgettable. This is not a fast food joint. You will relax and enjoy fine wine while waiting for very freshly prepared food, and the wait is worth it! The choices are varied but don,t take the kids, cos this is not the type of place that has a kids menu, its too good for that. Be prepared for a meal in Spain which is neither Spanish or British! Freddie is French and the menu reflects that, and by that I don,t mean snails & horse meat!! It is just fine quality food cooked the way it should be. The freshly made lasagne(which is supposed to be an Italian meal) is THE BEST I have ever tasted and would recommend it to anyone, and the great thing about it is that it is lasagne. No trimmings( like cold salad on a hot plate!!) no frozen chips, just perfectly prepared, perfectly fresh food. And as for the steaks, well just try them to find out and then enjoy the presentation of your food which we found quite unique but very complimentary to the meal.
