“good stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

have been to the riudor before so knew what it was like,we went alinclusive again which we find good value, but the prices at the bar are quite good, you are right in the heart of the entertainment area and it is not far to to the beach.food not bad good selection and all the staff are very friendly and helpfull, only down side that we found was the beds where very hard and as we were overlooking the black chicken it was a little noisy, would go back again as we always feel comfortable here and the other guest are always friendly,

Just got back from a week in Benidorm, for a friends birthday. Stayed at the Riudor. It was a great 3star hotel. The room was a decent size and clean. From the balcony we could see the sea. The buffet always had plenty of choice and we never went hungry. The pool was very cold and only went in once, we spent more time at the beach. I can't really comment on the entertainment as we went out in the evenings.

stayed in the riudor for the 2nd time this year loved it once again good food great staff couldn't fault anything about the hotel it's the brothel thats inbetween the hotel and the alleyway that leads to the black chicken thats the problem no way am i saying its run from the chicken these women seem to come from a entrance further down the alley but when you have to listen to them all night long and every night it does spoil your holiday

Room Tip: ask to be put on the oppisite side to the chicken so you don.t have to see or hear these women of th...

Ideal hotel if you want to be close to shops, bars and beach. Downside is that it can be noisy due to Karaoke bars to the back ot the hotel and bars to the front especailly in the summer. Booked half board with Thompsons and upgraded to all inclusive on arrival for 15 Euros a day per person as weather was a bit iffy (rain etc)
Limited to San Miguel lager, other beers, ciders, breezers etc you pay half price for. If you like to visit other bars etc, half board, or for 6 Euros daily, full board, is the better option. Many bars doing beer at 1 to 1.50 euros a pint, and cider at 2.50. Obviously bars with entertainment charge a bit more. Food in the hotel pretty good and a number of choices at lunch and dinner. Staff very friendly and rooms (though a bit smal) etc kept very clean.Pool area a bit in the small side, and yes, us Brits were out there at the crack of dawn getting the towels put on the sunbeds, though with the beach a 5 minute walk away, not too much of a problem. A good idea was that the hotel had put notices up warning guests of pickpockets, the pea under the shell con trick and dodgy camera shops. This was not to spoil your holiday, but just to make you aware of no matter where you are at home or away, there is always someone after your hard earned cash. We have been to Benidorm many times before so did not bother with trips to Terra Natura etc as been before. The public transport service is pretty good with a flat fare on the buses of 1.45. As the hotel is less that 2 minutes from the bus stops on the Avenida Mediterrano you can get to Albir, Finestrat where there are shopping malls, the tram station for a trip to Alicante, or the theme parks (Mundomar, Terra natura or the water park. So all in all not a bad spot to base yourself in.

Room Tip: Rooms at the side overlooking the pool may be quieter, though these face the main road, so may be su...
