20 minutes distance by subway till the city center, situated to 3 minutes walk from Suanzes metro station. Rooms are very tiny, pretty clean and have TV. The hotel personnel is OK, some of them speak also English. Breakfast can be purchased for 3.90 EUR / person - but it should be improved (just butter, coffee, tea, milk, cereals and jam). Good price for Madrid.

Metro Line 5 very near.
The location is very silent. The Hotel is Clean. It’s not dangerous.
Around the Hotel you can find a little supermarket and some restaurants.
Coffee is more simple them other ETAP, (no yogurt, no cheese).
I used to by my own cheese on supermarket.
It’s Near Train Station and the Airport. Taxi costs 16 Euros to both.
It’s very easy to go to Madrid by metro (12 stations, metro is very efficient and you can combine many lines).
You may use a Tourist ticket for 3 days (13 Euros) to travel unlimited times in metro.

we stayed in this hotel for one night, for a stopover in Madrid. We had landed at 11pm, got to the hotel after midnight, were very well received and the receptionist indicated us where we could grab some food to eat - there is a series os restaurantes/ pubs on the main street where the metro station is, and, about 100m further, a large supermarket by Corte Inglés. Not too expensive and has ready to go food.
The rooms are Etap basic, so no complains here, bed ok, pillows too. Shower pretty good, almost ibis level.
the only minus are the windows. We had the corner room, which had huge windows, one of each facinf the road, and the courtain wasnt functioning - the little cord was broken - but we somehow pulled it down and it stayed down.
The breakfast is also Etap like, for 3.90€, all you can eat: bread, toast, milk, orange juice, yogurt, coffee, tea, croissants. donuts, cheese, ham, butter....

Do your research when booking, spech if you're arriving by night, so you dont have to wander on those empty streets. on the way off the metro, it's the 1st street on the left (if you have the avenue on your right) - see it on google maps as we did.

Room Tip: Book in advance so you get the discount. Ask for rooms off the main street

I thought this hotel was excellent value for the money. Okay, the rooms are pretty small & crowded with the bed, but for the solo traveler there's a bunk bed above where you can sleep, and put all your stuff on the double bed below, which makes it feel much more roomy.
It's in a nice quiet semi-residential area, with a wonderful Italian restaurant, small bars & cafes right up the street, and a beautiful huge park a 5-minute walk away. Subway/bus totally convenient too.
The 5 euro charge for using WiFi is a big ripoff though. If they must charge, why not make it a couple of euros then most people would be willing to pay. We all need it!
The breakfast is not great, but it's okay if you need one before a flight. Cheaper than the airport. It would be nicer if we got plates for the bread/croissants instead of having to use napkins for plates!

I have scarcely seen a firmly closing window in a southern european etap, but this was the most intersting one. The window remained 5 mm open, even with closed handle. There were not even one way beakers in the room. The guy at the reception has been shouting all the night and could be heard in ma first floor room - although there was a door separating the ground floor from the rest of the hotel, but this was kept widely open. The carpet was dirty. The using of the WiFi costs 5 Euro extra and the underground parking 7 Euro! There must be better choises even in Madrid.
