We arrived in Madrid after having travelled on the bus from Valencia for over 5 hours, and were looking forward to getting a shower and comfy room! The hotel is situated in the up and coming Chueca district of Madrid, just down the road from the metro station. When we arrived the staff were fantastically welcoming and the room was a great suprise! I've used the trip advisor reviews for all the places I've stayed and visted, and this was the only one that didn't have any when we booked so we were a bit apprehensive... no need though! We had found a good deal on what they call a "superior double room" (80 euros per night), and we had double bed, balcony, air con, free internet on PC in the room and a jacuzzi to boot! We had use of a small fridge, which was filled free of charge every day as well. The room was compact, but had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend stay. The only thing that was a bit of a problem was the shower cubicle - a bit small! It can also get a bit noisy outside when the madrilenos come out to play as you are in the middle of a busy nightlife area, but you can close the balcony doors and switch on the air con! We were also warned about no visitors post 11pm, but never came across any trouble or problems from any of the staff, the owner or any other guests. The hotel is in a great location, within 5 mins walk from 3 main metro stations, plenty of bars and restaurants near by and perfect for the sight-seeing we wanted to do. It only has 7 rooms so book up early! A gem of hotel
