We got to this hotel by chance since our original booking in Catalonia Gran Via could not be satisfied dur to some problem in their booking system. The service was excellent since we were accomodated in the Catalonia Las Cortes free of extra charge and with breakfast included.
The hotel is in the centric Plaza Santa Ana with a big variety of restaurants and tapas bar where to have dinner. Night life is also really close from the hotel, even though you will not notice it from you room :-)
Breakfast is very good with plenty of choices: fruit, typical spanish products like Jamón serrano and cheese, tortilla.
The hotel´s service is very freindly and helpful with always a smile and good words to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Walking distance of most attractions, staff were extremely helpful in advice on shopping areas, tickets for football and where to eat highly recommended. The location could not be better 10 mins wlak to metro stations two mins to squares and bars with every option on tapas. Rooms are very large and confortable. Will definitely stay here again

Very personable helpful staff. City Centre location allowing walking distance or short cab rides to most attractions.
We were only doing a two night stay, visiting the Prado, shopping, and were meeting up with an old friend. The hotel was perfectly located for our needs. It was very clean, and well managed. Our room was full of light, well appointed and very comfortable. There was no noise, our room was away from the street on the 2nd floor and had windows on two walls allowing delightful morning sunshine. A good morning coffee spot was just down the street, and it was easy walking distance to an amazing array of restaurants and bars..which my old mate made sure we saw Many of !!.. along with a wealth of local knowledge on what was what & where best to get it, bless him... we've already booked flights to revisit Madrid next year and spend more time soaking up the grandeur and atmosphere of this great city. We may well stay here again. Great lollies at reception too hehe

A very nice hotel located in the city centre. I can really recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, very nice rooms (I stayed at the fourth floor and my room was HUGE) with everything you need for a pleasant stay such as a very nice bathroom, nice interior, a big and comfortable bed and clean and fresh. The breakfast was very nice with a high standard. A funny thing happened when I went down for breakfast at around 0900 and came back 40 mins later the maid had already made my room, brilliant!
Only negative thing I can come up with was the poor standard of the free wifi. When the wifi occasionally worked it was very slow (but it worked).
