The location of the hotel is excellent, right by the Gran Via metro station. Walking distance to almost every place you may want to visit. We took the metro to the airport and it worked fine but if you have more than a carry-on bag then the stairs in the metro might be a bit cumbersome.
The lobby was nice and the people working very friendly. If you arrive after hours then the security guard by the entrance will give you the card to your room. Just remember to go to the lobby the next day to pay for your stay since the card will only work until check-out time the first day.
The view from the roof top terrace is great. Must be one of the best in Madrid.
The configuration of the free WIFi network really should be checked by a professional. Half the times we tried to use the open network it just wasn't possible.
