“Excellent location; good service and accommodations.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

The locations couldn't be better; staff is very attentive although very discreet; the rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good despite the small room where it's served. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid for pleasure or on business.

Dear guest,

Thank you for the recommend our hotel to the next visitors to our City, we appreciate that you have wanted to share your experience in our hotel.

The breakfast is served in our restaurant and in my opinion it worth. In our buffet you will enjoy a taste of Iberian products, fresh pastries, orange juice, different fruits, espresso , salmon, sausage, scrambled eggs, champagne, cereal and a long list of quality products.

Thank you very much to share your experience in our hotel, we hope to see you soon.

Best regards

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Spent 5 nights at Lusso Las Infantas while on holiday with my boyfriend. I had specifically requested a quiet room as I had bad experiences in the past not being able to sleep and the staff kindly took my request into consideration(we couldn't hear a fly and in Madrid's central hotels is not always granted!).Bed and bathroom were comfy and clean. Chueca is a great trendy and lively area and there are a lot of places for breakfast and Tapas around. The staff of the hotel was always ready to help and suggest places to visit and restaurants to go, friendly and happy to have a chat with us!I wouldn't say is a cheap hotel for Madrid, considered we didn't have breakfast included either, you can find a lot cheaper ones in the city, but to me quiet and kindness of staff are priceless when on holiday and overall it wasn't super-expensive.
BUs for airport is 5 min walking away and you can walk to all main attractions!
PS: the only little flaw if I want to be fussy is the smell you can feel coming from the kitchen when opening the window (room 109). not a big deal at all anyway!

Dear traveller,

Thank you for qualify our hotel with 5 points, we appreciate it.

We are very happy because our hotel helps you to enjoy a great time in our City. You have made a very good description about the hotel and Chueca area.

Thank you for explain to the next visitors how to get the hotel from/to the airport with the Airport Express Bus, for us it is also the best option and it costs only 5€

We hope to see again in our hotel.

Best regards

Pleasant room (although a bit warm), modern and pleasant decorated bathroom, very good location near the three top musea (walking distance), within easy reach from the airport (you have to transfer two times on the metro), stylish neighbourhood with impressive buildings. A bargain for the price we paid, directly at the website of the hotel. Great service by the deskman, no problem to print our boarding passes or to hold our luggage. Will stay here again next time.

Dear traveller,

Thank you very much for your nice remark about the hotel, we appreciate it.

We also consider that the hotel offers a very good value for money, thank you for sharing your opinion about it in Tripadvisor.

From the hotel you can visit all the main places of the City. For example the Prado Museum is only 10 minutes walking or Puerta del Sol is only 5-7 minutes from here. We think that the location of the hotel is perfect for the tourist traveller.

To get the hotel from the airport the best option is the Express Bus (yellow line). This bus goes from the airport (it stops in all the terminals) to Atocha Station but it has a stop in Cibeles Square that is 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

We hope to see you soon

Best regards

For $100 you will get a lovely old-fashioned, classic hotel at the edge of Chueca and one block from Gran Via. Rooms are large but plain, and bathroom is huge and modern. There is virtually no lobby, but there is a cafe and a restaurant at street level. The staff could not be more-accommodating - they were pleasant, well-informed, and helpful. The entire place was immaculate. No breakfast included in rates, but for 9 euro, the restaurant on premises serves an exceptional breakfast buffet. This place is simple and not glamorous, but for the price and the location it is super. The corner street is Calle Liberdad, which has dozens of well-priced restaurants. It is only a few blocks from the very active gay-life of Chueca. We enjoyed out stay here much more than Room Mate Oscar, and everything works!!!

Room Tip: We were on second floor and faced street, but it was quiet,

Dear guest,

First of all thank you for spend your time writing about our hotel we appreciate it.
Thank you for the nice description you have made about the hotel, I am sure it will be very helpful for the next visitors.

Chueca district is maybe the most fashion district in Madrid. On it you can find a lot of restaurants, tapas, bars and its nightlife is great.

I hope to see you very soon in Madrid

This hotel is mediocre and you can find much better rooms at other hotels in the Chueca area at similar prices. I spent a week here (pre-booked through Orbitz) and had trouble with two different rooms. The first room (101) had a shower that changed temperature from very hot to very cold. I asked to be moved and it took them 2 days to do it. The second room (103) had the same shower issue and a day later the air conditioner stopped working. I asked for another room to and was told the hotel was sold out on a Wednesday night and there was nothing they could do. Both rooms faced a street that was very loud. I would not recommend staying at this property.

On the positive side, other front desk staff were very helpful in providing directions and helping with general recommendations.

Room Tip: Close a different hotel.

Dear guest,

We are sorry because you consider our hotel as “mediocre”, it is not usual, normally the guest consider the hotel good or very good and we work to be excellent.

During your stay at the hotel we didn’t have problems with the hot/cold water and shower in the rooms were and are working correctly, I don’t know what happened but i apologize if you had any inconveniences with this service of the hotel.

Normally when a guest need or want to change the room we do it as soon as possible, normally if they ask for the change in the morning we do it immediately if it is on the evening we change the next morning. We never want to dilate our guest problems.

We are sorry about the bad experience you had in our hotel. We always work hard trying to give to the guest the best experience, I am very sorry because we couldn’t do it with you.

Best regards

Hotel is well located for sight seeing in Madrid. Starbucks is across the street; a good bakery one block away, as well as lively bars and tapas places. The staff is very helpful. However, the hotel's public spaces are small and need sprucing up, as do the rooms. The bed and pillows were thin and uncomfortable. The drawbacks were balanced by the good value and quiet location.

Dear guest,

Thank you for spent part of your time to write your opinion about the hotel, we appreciate it.
We are not happy because we feel that the hotel didn’t cover all your expectation. Thank you for the nice words about the hotel location and its staff.

Our hotel is a small hotel located in an old full renovated building. We have only 40 rooms and we love spent our time with all our customers trying to help them in all the need. As we explain you the hotel is small and the publics areas are not like in other new building hotels but we offer a very good restaurant and café in this areas. We recommend to see the photos you will find in the hotel web site, they are as the hotel is.

Best regards
