We stayed in this hotel , the rooms are pretty big, sleep up to 4 people with a bunk bed, stay in the higher floor, nicer rooms.

Room Tip: stay in higher floors

Great little hotel right in the heart if Madrid with easy access on the metro from the train station. We had a quad and triple room. The triple had enough room and was very modern. The quad had a double bed and bunk beds which were comfortable. Each room even has its own laptop to use.

Although this hotel didn't seem too High Tech, it WAS very modern with internet connections on the first floor for free. Nice. The rooms were small, but that was fine since I was there with a student group. The bathroom had an unusual glass door into the bedroom with didn't afford as much privacy as an ordinary door, but that was okay for me since I was rooming alone. If you are rooming with a friend, it might not be too great. The room was quiet, but the location was really close to all the action. I think I had a room off the street. It only took 10 minutes to walk to the pedestrian center of the city. I have no complaints and enjoyed my stay.

It´s a small boutique hotel located in the center of Madrid, only 1 minute walk to Sol square. Very modern rooms with A/C, flat TV, confy beds... You have all kind of amenities within walking distance. There is bus, tube and taxis stop within 1 minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommende, very helpful staff.

This hotel is ideally located for getting to Plaza Mayor and Sol metro with lots of restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel and an easy walk to the Palace and Opera. You could also walk to Prado and the museum areas, or take the subway from Sol if you didn't want to walk. This was also a drawback in that there were always crowds outside the hotel and sometimes made it hard to get anywhere if you were in a hurry. We had an interior room, so no view, but it was also quiet compared to what it could have been if we had the crowds below our room. The room was well equipped, breakfast was available each morning for 10 euro each with a pretty good buffet. The beds were hard too, so if you don't like that, don't even think about staying here. There was internet in the room both wireless and a hardwired laptop came with the room. I have mixed feelings about the place as to whether to recommend it or not. The location is either good or bad depending on what you are interested in, and the room is OK, but not really up to the 4 star standard they are claiming, though the price is a bit on the low side for a 4 star so it really should be judged more against 3 stars or other hotels in that price range. I'd probably stay close to the Prado if I were looking to pay for a 4 star next time.

We were due to stay on the 29th of September for 4 nights. this was unfortunately the day of the general strike in spain. On the way to the airport we were informed that our flight was cancelled and so went about cancelling the whole trip. the hotel still decided to charge us for the first night as we didn't cancel 48hrs in advance. the situation was obviously out of our control but the hotel showed no understanding. extremely disappointed as we were very much looking forward to staying there.

We were disappointed with our room as we don't believe that it matched the pictures. The front desk staff were always smiling and helpful, the breakfast, which we had on just one morning of our stay was completely fine - a range of offerings which were tasty and should appeal to most palates. We eventually found a little restaurant just off Plaza del Sol, which sold a great simple breakfast for just a couple of euros. It was under Hotel Europa - highly recommended.

The major problem with this hotel is the street noise - until the very small hours of the morning. There is a night club directly opposite and the queues to get in were noisy and constant throughout the nights we were there - probably wouldn't get so bad in the winter!
If the windows were double glazed, it would make a great difference. The rooms were inexpensive for a brilliant location in a busy tourist city, so I suppose we got what we paid for. The beds, however, were comfortable and the internet worked in the rooms.
