Air Europa put us up in this hotel after a delay. It's somewhat of a grand hotel — huge and its gigantic halls are museum-like. There's lots of art and sculpture and people were even stopping to take pictures. That said, it's also a little sad, just because it tends to feel somewhat empty because of its size. My room was fabulous. View wasn't great, and it was a bit of a walk from the lobby (the hotel really is that big) but there were gorgeous hardwood floors and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Very, very clean room and bathroom. Bathroom is spacious too. Of course, the downside is that the Auditorium is in the middle of nowhere. It's very close to the airport, of course. But no clue how you would get to the center from here sans taxi. The airline gave us a free buffet at the hotel's dining hall. Food was decent. Service here is fine but no one is what I would call friendly, exactly. Took forever to get a drink at the bar, even though it was rather empty. But I wasn't going anywhere, so I suppose it didn't matter.
