“Good modern business hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014 via mobile

The hotel is situated half way between the airport and city centre in one of Madrids business areas. Modern, clean, good size rooms the hotel serves the purpose well. It has a good restaurant, bar and the breakfast is more than adequate. You can book free shuttles to and from airport if needed. All in all a the hotel fits the bill and will be returning.

Even though this hotel is a bit of a distance from the city centre there is a very good bus service to the centre of Madrid which operates until 23:00 hours but even after that there is an hourly night bus service.
Ask the hotel for there free shuttle service to and from the airport, otherwise the cab will cost about 25€.
The rooms are excellent, they even provide you with a toothbrush and toothpaste, I've never had that before.
The rooms are excellent size and most of the rooms have air con and also most rooms have a shower AND bath tub. Very tidy.
Friendly staff with the reception covered 24 hours. The breakfast has also a very good choice from hot food to cold meats and fruits.

Room Tip: Ask for the air con room if you require just in case and the free shuttle service to and from the ai...

Stayed for two nights in October for business. The hotel is clean and welcoming with well equipped rooms and spacious bathrooms. Great if driving as there's plenty of free on street parking nearby. The nearest metro is a 15 min walk down pleasant suburban roads. Breakfast was good - continental with a nice selection of typical Spanish desayuno items such as churros and pastries. Would stay again as the room rates are excellent value.

then stay at this awful hotel. Internet service is a total rip-off, the food is not good and the rooms are average. The only good thing is the view if you're lucky enough to be on a high floor.
The only reason I stayed here was because it was walking distance from my daily meetings in a semi-industrial area on a main highway. If you want to see Madrid this is NOT the hotel to stay in. It's at least 25 minutes from the city center.
Find a non-chain hotel with personality and leave this glass-fronted monolith alone.

Room Tip: Great sun views if you are facing the highway.

Good business hotel. Rooms are sizeable, nice bathroom, bed comfortable and room clean. Breakfast is average but everything you need in the morning. Not much else around the hotel but very convenient for business.

Visiting an office 5 minutes from this hotel which is why we stayed here.

Arrived at hotel and took 4 visits to receptiom before my key would work, actually had to swap rooms to get a working key. Received a fruit platter in my room for the trouble.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, only one or two English channels despite the hotel advertising cable.

No iron in room, needed one for my shirts for a customer meeting, had to ring down 3 times before one was eventually delivered. And no ironing board, so had to use the glass desk and a towel!

Didn't try the restaurant, although was looking for room service one night but this was unavailable between 16.30 and 20.00.

Overall, lots of minor faults but proximity to my customer made it convenient. Could be a good hotel if service was better. It was around 15 minutes from the centre by taxi so wouldn't recommend for tourists.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

The hotel is located in a non central area of the city, even if you can get to Salamanca quarter in less then 15 minutes. The rooms are big enough and so is the toiled. However I was unlucky to receive very poor service. Both days I was attended by a person on stage who clearly did not know how to handle check in and check out and the situation clearly annoyed the more experienced employee who handled my situation with a rude behaviour towards the young fellow. I felt uncomfortable especially at the check in because the lady didn't look me in the eyes for even a second. I felt not welcome at all.
