“Nice place in the middle of a lovely Madrid”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

Location very central
Plazas with beautifull buildings a delight to sit and have a coffee or drink and relaxe and were all within minutes walk. Lovely restaurants.
Musea, Palace, Botanic garden all nearby and a bonus for the over 65 it was half price or some even free of charge.
We will come back amd stay there again.
The receptionist(e) were both very, very friendly.

Room Tip: Do not take the breakfast option, it was just a waste.

Good welcoming host, clean apartment, Bad Sofa bed, very stiff and hard to sleep, noisy street, stays noisy even late after hours. Internet worked well, checking in and checking out is no issue. Over all this place is in the heart of the City, minutes from the Grand Via, Grand Train Station, Palace, and lot more, just to a 10 minute walk.

Room Tip: May be a room away from the window may help to reduce the street noise.

We did have a little bit of difficulty locating the apartment, but when we arrived it was worth it. Our room was nicely laid out, with chic deco in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen and living area were spacious; the bedroom and bathroom were in a cosy alcove attached.

We walked everywhere from our apartment, so location was good - food, supermarket, shops, attractions...all accounted for.

I had high hopes for this self-catering apartment. The location was very central and the price was right. The studio apartment was clean and comfortable. We were there for a few days, then move on to our next city. We had checked in a little late in the afternoon, around 6 p.m. When it came to checking out, we just assumed it would be the standard 12 noon check out time. Imagine our rather rude surprise to learn it was actually 11 a.m.! We learned it by a rather loud knock on the door at exactly 11:05 a.m. Of course, we had been packing and only had a few things to put into our suitcases, but when we finally tried to check out at 11:30 a.m., we had to pay an additional 20 Euros in cash as a "late checkout fee". Which of course was true, but I don't like being nickle-and-dimed. You've been warned!

Room Tip: Be sure to check out at or before 11 a.m. to prevent having to pay an additional 20 Euro extortion f...

We really enjoyed our stay at this self catering apartment! Completely central for Madrid. Plaza de Santa ana is 3 minute walk away and Plaza Mayor 10 minutes! We didn't use the metro at all and found walking everywhere was better.
The apartment is right next door to a supermarket so its very convenient.
The apartment was spotless and everything in working order. Gentleman on check in was super friendly and gave us a map of Madrid and pointed out all the main attractions.
You won't be dissapointed when booking :)

We booked this accommodation through agoda. We had trouble looking for this apartment less than 5mins walk to Anton Martin metro. It is located opposite the Le Petite Bistrot Matute restaurant. We stayed here for 4 nights in Room 14. It's fortunate that it wasn't the bio-toilet room. It's difficult to keep the bathroom dry as water splashes out of the shower area with no shower curtain / door. The room is small but good enough. There is no kettle provided so we used the pot to boil water for tea etc. No dish detergent provided. A conventional safe is provided with ?20 deposit for use.
Breakfast was not provided but walk up to Calle de Atocha road on the way to metro, you will find Granier bakery shop. The take away croissants x3 is only ?1.50!!! You will love the lovely bakery.

We had a good stay in this apartments, they were reccomeded to us by a couple who used to live in Madrid.

The location is good, we walk with our kids (4 and 6) to Plaza Sta Ana just around the corner and to Plaza del Sol and most of the main attrations of donwtown Madrid.

Europe restaurants are not super friendly with kids so having a kitchenette allowed us to have breakfast at the unit without the need to go out, two grocery stores are just next door the apartments.

At night there are plenty of places t have adrink of sit for dinner really closeby.

We definetely will come back when traveling with kids or even if traveling in couple when staying more than a week in Madrid.
