The hotel sits on a side street off of several of the major streets of Madrid. People are out and about all the tike. There is a sense of liveliness as one contemplates the humanity of this great city. The rooms at the hotel are clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful -- in our getting case getting tickets got a Bach concert. All-in-all much to like.

We (my husband, adult daughter and I ) recently stayed three nights at this hotel. If it's all about location, this one has it. We walked everywhere. We never had a need for a subway or bus or taxi. The hotel was clean and comfortable as well, although a bit small for three people, since there was s ofa bed added. Staff was very helpful, although we didn't have to much need of them. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to madrid.

I am 19, traveled with my parents to Madrid for 5 days.
This hotel is perfect for those who want to enjoy the city rather than the hotel.
It is located amazingly close to almost everything in the city.
The service is excellent: the staff is very informative and always nice.
The room is very clean but I think it was quite basic compared to overall feel of this hotel.
Breakfast was good but repetitive, gym was small although good enough for practice.
Overall great and enjoyable experience.

A good three minutes walk from Sol metro and yet calmly located, it is a good choice if you get a rate for not more than 90,- for a double room. Good average standard with hardly any real disappointments, except for a miscommunication at checkin when the receptionist pointed out the possibility to book breakfast with a 20% discount when booked at the reception and not in the breakfast room, and when two days later I tried to book breakfast for the next day, I was told by his colleague who said he overheard our conversation that this would have been possible only if I had taken breakfast for ALL days of my stay. Since one day had already passed, a discount was not possible anymore. So if you are undecided about having breakfast every day and still want to get a discount, make three booking for three consecutive days.
