Don't stay here! You're miles away from anything, the aparthotel is surrounded by high-rise residential apartment blocks. Just a couple of restaurants nearby, with no shopping. I stayed here for two reasons: 1) Outdoor pool and 2) Easy to get to IFEMA (conference centre). Neither reasons were justified. The pool doesn't open until mid June, though of course no-one pointed this out when I was booking. I had been told that it was a short walk to Chamartin Metro station, when it was actually 20 minutes hard walking. So I ended up spending a fortune in cabs.

I knew of course that the hotel was towards the north of the city, but nothing prepared me for just how far out you are, basically in a residential area. The room itself was actually rather nice, but I wouldn't ever stay there again; the location is awful. Spend your money elsewhere and stay nearer the centre, would be my advice.
