“Exceptional Value for Money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

A lot to share on this property, the experience was very fulfilling. Location: definitely not in the city (super!), what you do have is a train that is two blocks away that connects you with every zone you could desire. Train is super-easy, routes and lines are colour coded, you just follow the dots (I got it on the first try, need I say more). Rooms: very clean, well serviced, spotless bathroom and shower, small in size relative to other places I have stayed, but that was not a deal-breaker (1. honeymoon, 2. time spent exploring). Dining: breakfast buffet was generous with lots of choices and excellent wait staff. (Required to collect your breakfast cards at the front desk every morning). Surrounding area: tapas bar across the street, Burger King at the end of the block, groceries around the corner, large supermarket three blocks away and a nice gift shop and convenience store (plate souvenirs were less expensive here). Comp: shuttle, WIFI and breakfast. My only challenge with this stay was navigating the two single beds pushed together. Anyone with a mission to see Spain without spending a fortune would be happy here.

Room Tip: Rooms are in a residential area, so the view is basically other apartments.

This is a good choice for one night before a flight but I wouldn't recommend it for anything else.

We had a late arrival from Sevilla and an early flight out of Madrid the next morning so we decided to stay the night near the airport although there is a good train service from Atocha to the airport which should also be considered.

This small hotel is in the middle of Barajas about 10 minutes drive from the airport; there plenty of cafes and restaurants around.

Our room was very small but adequate and clean. We did not hear any street noise but the internal walls are thin and there is quite a bit of sound transfer from other rooms. Not terrible but enough to be annoying.

Breakfast was fine.

The hotel offers a shuttle service which worked well. The small bus arrived within about ten minutes of our call to the hotel to tell them we were waiting in T4 and the return service was just as quick and worked well. You have to call the hotel to advise them you have arrived which is a bit of a pain if you don't have a Spanish phone but that's a minor gripe.

My first visit to Spain that I had wanted to visit for years. This hotel was located within walking distance of important sight seeing and close to public transit to visit the ones that were further away. The breakfast room and food was outstanding. I would recommend this to everyone.

Room Tip: choose one on the top floor. A few more dollars but worth the view etc.

Very close to airport. Good shuttle service. Good breakfast with many hot/cold choices. Room was tiny but clean. Very small TV. Internet didn't work most of the time. Bed was terrible. Both inside and outside noises made sleep difficult as well. Thin drapes let lots of morning light in.

Excellent stay and very good value, this hotel is well situated close to the airport with a courtesy bus both ways, and also only about 200 metres from the Metro station. Rooms were extremely clean, tidy and quiet, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Access to central Madrid is simple with the Metro costing 2 Euro each, taking around 45 minutes. Barajas has a good supply of restaurants and bars, but one nearly opposite La Latina – Gastro Pub, offered drinks and food at good prices. So a cost effective base near the airport, or an alternative for a few days to explore Madrid and its surroundings.

This hotel was nicely located near the airport. The shuttle picked us up and took us back to the airport when we checked out. Very helpful staff, good breakfast which was included in our stay. Reasonable prices, great location to catch the metro to travel around Madrid. I'd recommend this hotel to others!

Hotel offers free shuttle service from airport. Requires you to call them when you arrive and collected baggage etc. but airport info counter refuses to help us call the hotel and asked us to use pay phone. We used hand phone to call and had some idd charges. Shuttle is white with hotel name on it. Took it frm T4. Pick up point at place where hotel buses pick up guests. Less than 15 min wait.

Room was extremely small but very clean. Not much space to open up my luggage without tripping anyone. Hotel is 5 min walk frm Barajas station. Very convenient. Neighborhood is quiet, not much to see around. Good place to rest your feet if arriving late into madrid airport.

Breakfast has the essentials - nice bread, fruits, cereal, ham, sausages, scrambled egg, coffee etc. No water in room and no kettle. Waitress helps us fill up our water bottles.

Overall good hotel.
