We stayed here for 4 nights and it was nice and comfortable. The hotel is clean. Workers speak little english. There's a super market to the left of the hotel. There's also 2 gyms nearby and i also found it safe to jog everyday around the hotel. You can take the bus right in front of the hotel and it takes you the Plaza Mayor.

“Quiet location minutes from Plaza Mayor”

Hotel is situated in a quieter area of the city but catch the No 23 bus at the stop outside the hotel and it will take you to the Plaza Mayor in 10mins and same bus will bring you back to the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable with nice bar area, but it is worth exploring Calle Antonio Lopez as there are numerous small tapas bars and the locals were friendly and helpful especially the owner of "La Parada" (Salvatore) 20 metres from hotel who speaks perfect English and will give you any advice you need to know about getting around Madrid.
