“Cosmos 'Spanish Panorama Tour'”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, 1 at the start of our tour and 2 at the end. Our room on the first night was excellent with a wide range of toiletries, toothbrush, razor, comb, but on our return at the end, the bathroom had a hairdryer that was positively dangerous, the outer rim having melted at some stage and the toiletries had diminished to basic soap, shampoo and shower gel. The food for breakfast and the evening meal was buffet style, with a good choice and there was red wine on the table with the evening meal. The bar area was particularly pleasant and the bar staff very friendly, providing a constant stream of nibbles and tapas. We ate in the normal hotel restaurant on our last night and the burgers are to be recommended. The hotel is sat on a busy street, with plenty of bars and places to eat, if you didn't want to use the hotel, there is also a supermarket just across the road, although the hotel does provide complimentary water in your room in the fridge.

Stayed here on a topdeck tour with friends. Wifi only works downstairs. Clean rooms which were big enough. Cheap cab rides to wherever you need to go in town, not exactly walkable to main areas of city unless you love the long walks in the sun. Aircon worked well. Laundromat down the road. Across road is food supermarket. Breakfast was nice. Would stay there again.

We spent two nights at this hotel on our final leg of our tour to Spain and Portugal with Archers Direct. Room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and had free wi-fi. Breakfast and dinner were excellent-we ate there for two nights and had good choice of vegetarian meals. Bus no 23 takes you to the city centre or 20 minutes walk to most attractions.

Room Tip: We will definitely stay there again.

The rooms are quite spacious with a lovely bathroom. There is a fridge in the room which allows you to cool your own drinks (or food) and they also give you complimentary water. There are lots of supermarkets very close to the hotel. There is a bus at the door but you can easily walk to the main centre. There is a huge park which runs along the river just near the hotel.

The least a person would expect after taking a 14 hour flight is to be greeted with a smile at the hotel while checking in. We got a very rude gentleman named Fernando.. young guy very arrogant.. not happy..I felt like he was doing us a favour by allowing us to stay in the hotel...

Stayed here for 1 night at beginning of 12 night holiday. Handy for transport links. Very wide range of toiletries etc. Good wifi connection. Buffet dinner and breakfast were both good - lots of choice. Really comfy bed. Clean room, good air con

Room Tip: Ask for a room not overlooking the Main Street as this will not have a good view but will be quieter...

We stayed here as part of a tour, It was the nicest of the three hotels we stayed at. It was clean, fairly modern or at least recently renovated and had a great bathroom with nice big towels. Location was great, around the corner they have this great park that is worth going for a stroll. They supplied two bottles of water FOC in the fridge and have a safe however you have to pay in order to use it. It is only 7 Euros to go into Madrid, but it also has a bus that stops right outside the hotel. Air conditioner worked however WiFi was temperamental, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't! Staff weren't the most helpful but if you persevered you could extract info from them. The dining room was quite nice, clean, tidy and well set out unfortunately that's were the positives end. The food was just horrible, appearance was good but it was almost uneatable. It was as if it was fake, definitely unseasoned and even if you seasoned it wasn't much better. This was the case for both dinner and breakfast. Our conclusion is stay here but dine elsewhere.
