My husband and I stayed there for a night, as we entered to the lobby we noticed many friendly looking tourist conversing in its wifi area, the receptionist was also smily and friendly, there was also a little corner for buying snacks in the lobby. Our room would have been just perfect if it had at least a dobble bed (queen), it had two separed beds joined together, which was pretty uncomfortable because the whole idea of sleeping out was for having a romantic no kid night; so anytime we tried to at least hug each other the beds would separate a little more. They didn't have more rooms with queen beds available. What I think it's wrong because I'm pretty sure I asked for a queen bed at the moment of making the reservation. The hotel seems to have a really nice terrace for breakfasts, we didn't have it there but there was a pretty ad in the elevators. Since the hotel is close to very lively Madrid areas we had dinner and breakfast round Huertas and Atocha, we also had some tapas in the fantastic neighborhood of Lavapies and listened to some jazz in one of the jazz bars in Huertas. The room had a nice view do the Paseo de las Delicias (nothing spectacular but nice). One of the most emblematic museums is about a two minute walk from the hotel, but if you walk 10 minutes you would find the other museums. Overall I would go back if I'm given a room with an appropriate bed. Since everything else is just neat, decoration, location and service.
