“Not with children”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Wanted to go out for dinner after reading such good reviews on trip advisor.
Once we got there on the 18/09/13 evening with my husband and my toddler son the waiter soon asked us whether my 2 year son could be quiet at the restaurant, apparently the restaurant is a romantic place.
I was very disappointed and sad at the treatment we received by the waiter and we went away.
Wouldn't recommend it to anyone with children!!

“A restaurant that will impress”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

We saved the best to last! We would highly recommend this great, cosy and romantic restaurant with great decor and ambiance. That was our first impression on being shown to our table but the best was to come. We had a really deliscious 3 course meal and the French waiter, who spoke perfect english, recommended a very good wine. He also noticed that there was a delay in our dessert arriving and bought over a free glass of cava to compensate, which was great because we hadn't even noticed the wait as we were enjoying ourselves so much! A great night out on our last night in Madrid and very good value for money with the 40% discount booking via Restalo.

“Fun and contemporary”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

We got the feeling that this a "special date night" restaurant for 20 -30 something's in Madrid. It does have a wonderful contemporary feel to it, the staff was very friendly and the food was very good.

“Wonderful place for a special dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

We really enjoyed our meal here. The food was fantastic, the service was great and the restaurant was well appointed.
We had 3 x courses plus a bottle of cava and came to under 90 euros, which can be seen as expensive compared to tapas places in Madrid, but the quality of the food, service and drink would cost you £125 in London (150 euros).
We got there early for Spanish time (8:30) and were the only ones there, so got great service, but it did slow down a bit after 10pm when locals came in for dinner, so may be a good idea to go early.
Would recommend for special meal.

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

First time in Madrid for a quick visit, staying in Calle Gran Via, so thought we'd check out Petite Comite. We arrived at 8:30 and the joint was empty which seemed odd, but we didn't appreciate the Spanish habit of eating much later. Waiter was good, ordered the anchovy and tomato salad, then steak tartare, so a bit out there. Both dishes were delicious, especially the steak tartare which was prepared at the table, bit of a gimmick but it tasted great. Also had a nice bottle
