This is a great place if you are a foodie. It showed the real fusion of food culture that Madrid clearly has. We went twice, once to avoid the rain on Saturday afternoon - nightmare so crowded and whilst the atmosphere was great and it had a real buzz, it was not possible to get anywhere near any of the stalls to get food. We returned on Sunday evening and it was much more pleasant, the food was good, albeit you need to be picky about what you choose to eat. I'd recommend a visit, but be prepared to queue and if you are in a couple and you want a seat, you'll spend quite a bit of time apart, one looking after the seats and the other getting the job of collecting the food and drinks. Also be prepared to pay a premium the food was not value for money.
