“Good value, tasty food and friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Two of us ate 3 courses with bread and half a bottle of wine each for less than 10 Euros each on the Menu del Dia. Fantastic value for eating near the heart of a capital city.

“Great value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2012

We were very pleased by the quality of the dishes and the reasonable price of the set course. There are two locations, directly across the street from one another, and we were in the secondary one, which has a funky plasticky look with lots of orange. Not very romantic and cosy, but fun. (I don't know what the main location's ambience is like.) The other patrons (the place was packed) seemed to be locals, always a good sign. I would most definitely eat here again.

“Great Find ,decent food , great prices and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2012

This would be a definite return visit ate here twice from a set menu which was great value, simple well cooked food and nice service. Jose the barman was very pleasant and helpful as were the rest of the team. Saturday night saw locals queing for a table which is always a good sign. Easy to find just off the grand via and well worth the effort.

“Great Spanish food at a good price in cool Madrid”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2011

We ate at a restaurant recommended by a local in the centre of Madrid, a trendy area in between Chueca and Malasania. It was traditional Spanish food at an excellent price, and the staff were relaxed and friendly. For under 10 pounds we ate starter, main and dessert. I was very impressed by the choice of desserts; the chocolate brownie (a favourite amongst customers according to the owner) was delicious! Lots of choice (including vegetarian – not common in Madrid!), homemade food at a great price, and open till midnight. A real Spanish experience, we would definitely go back!
