“Good quality hotel in a quiet location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012 via mobile

The hotel is fairly far from Madrid's main tourist attractions, but the Metro is 5 minutes' walk away and everywhere is accessible from there. The room was clean and quiet, with free Wifi and a good coffee maker added bonuses. The breakfast was reasonable, but quite pricey, so you may be better heading to one of the many nearby cafés.

Just back from a long weekend in this hotel. It is a peaceful hotel (rooms very quiet), with good showers and beds. Breakfast a bit expensive for us but there is a cafe in the next street, where you can get a good breakfast for a reasonable price. Otherwise the hotel is good value. You do have to pay for added extras but that is up to you and you can have a good stay without those extras. Metro is close by (about 4/5 minutes walk), to get anywhere by metro you will probably take 2 trains - but they run pretty regularly so it is not a concern.

Stayed for 2 nights over a weekend while in Madrid. I found a good rate online of 40 EUR which is a fraction of what the business folks pay during the week. It's some distance from town but taxis are cheap (compared to UK) and the metro is handy too - 12min to Sol by metro. I didn't take breakfast as it was too expensive, but the room with wet room shower (loose fitting shower head was soon fixed though) and a comfortable bed hit the spot for me once again. Recommended.

Central, in a quite and cosy area, location is perfect if you wan to avoid the touristic center. Perfect for airport transfers too. Nice design and amazing superior rooms with a private rooftop terrassa. Loved it. Not an amazing service, but efficient one. Great for a week end for an average budget.

Room Tip: Best option are the most expensive rooms with terrassa. Great for an afternoon sunbath or an evening...

Checked in for three nights. Got the hotel as a secret 4 star hotel through Last Minute and wasn't disappointed. Room was stylish, modern and clean and about a 25 minute walk from town centre. Close to metro with great local cafes for breakfast and a handy supermarket nearby. The staff were pleasant and helpful, particularly Laura who gave us lots of good advice on where to eat and what to to see. Unfortunately, there was no hotel bar. However, with so many places nearby, this was not a big concern. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and use it again in the future.

We checked in for two nights at this hotel as part of a last minute.com secret hotel package.
Check in normally is from 3pm but we were allowed to check in at noon which was great since we had our bags from the airport with us.
The hotel is very modern, and air conditioned throughout. We stayed in room 401, which was of a decent size, and had a great bathroom with a "rainfall" shower built into the ceiling. We didn't have much of a view, but this wasn't a problem as we kept the curtains shut to keep the room cool.
Whilst I would stay here again, there were only a few small things which annoyed me. First of all - there is no ironing boards in the room or available from reception, so I had to go out looking disheveled some nights. Whilst there is a laundry service, it's not convenient to have to pay and then wait 4hrs or so when all you want to do is quickly press a shirt. Secondly the rooms have no tea/coffee facilities in them, although there is a restaurant downstairs.

Room Tip: End corridor rooms are very quiet

This hotel is in a great location - central, very close to decent shopping, and not difficult to get to and from the airport.

The rooms are modern, stylish and comfortable with everything you need. The hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful - all in all, a good place to stay
