Be aware that this restaurant has two venues, the restaurant and a terrace for tapas and drinks. We first noticed the terrace, and watching the tapas being served knew that we had finally found a place that delivered on the promise of delectible tapas. Alas, getting a table outside proved difficult so the friendly owner directed us to the resturant. However, the restaurant was more luncheon oriented, and did not have an english menu. So, as we were hoping for the terrace, sunshine and tapas we left the restaurant to came back later that afternoon for a table at the terrace.
When we returned we were rebuked gently by a waiter who wondered why we left the restaurant earlier without notice (they were busy with other customer issues at the time). Upon explanation, all was well, but I was impressed that a waiter (owner?) cared so much to speak up. I wish everyone cared about their work as much as the people at 3 Manolas.
In the end, we were thrilled to had finally gotten a table.Good choice too because the tapas were outstanding, delighting the eye as well as the palate. The spanish omellette had a delicate crispness on the surface that gave into a fluffly and light interior...fabulous.
