“Perfect Layover hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Ultra modern, 'newish' with, large, clean comfortable rooms. Strictly a place to spend to spend a quiet, comfortable evening if you have an early departure flight the next day.

You cannot beat the price. I think we paid 50-bucks US with free wifi. By far the largest room we stayed in during our 16 days in europe. Too bad the location has ZERO to offer.

The staff was excellent. The room clean, modern and comfortable. We stayed in room number 5524 but, that does not matter. All the rooms are the same.

The only thing to do in the area, and I highly recommended it, is to go the the nearby mall only a few blocks away. The retail fashions are excellent, as are the restaurants. The Spanish interpretation of "fast food" is very different from that of the USA. Excellent food, quality, and price.

Room Tip: Sounds ridiculous I know but, go to the mall. Great retail stores. Good value, and good restaurants.

I stayed here overnight on route to Seville. It was perfect. A comfortable room with a great bathroom. Free wi-fi, good breakfast and a free shuttle to the airport every 30 mins. The sister hotel next door had a bar and restaurant which I didn't use but it would have been very convenient if I had needed to. I would definitely stay here again

Arriving at the T4 Barajas terminal hotel bus pickup area, the minibus to the Axor Hotels (Feria & Barajas) was waiting, so there was no need to call the hotel. The hotel buses pass by periodically but it does help to speed things up if one can call after claiming baggage.
Bus then filled up with passengers at T1, T2 & T3. Trip from T4 to the hotel took about 25 minutes.
The Feria is a modern clean hotel & our check-in was processed quickly. Three elevators are available. The room is of average size and contained a queen size bed. The bathroom is small but with a large shower stall. There is a small refrigerator containing refreshments (a detector senses when items are removed, thereby adding to one's room bill).
The cyber area on the second floor had a number of slick laptops providing free access to the internet.
The restaurant is located next door in the Barajas Hotel. At lunchtime (until 4pm) we had the "executive menu" for 15 euros which was excellent, both tasty & filling.
It is important to reserve seats upon checkin for one's return to the airport since certain departure times can be totally full. It took about 10 minutes to get to T1. The minibus parks at the Barajas Hotel which is connected by a short walkway to the Feria.
There is a large shopping mall with supermarkets just a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

We stayed here at the Axor for 2 notes only, as a stop over to Dubrovnick and Paris. There is not enough that I can say about this hotel. The reception staff was helpful and accommodating. First of all there is a FREE shuttle to and from the airport every half hour. When we got to the hotel we needed to print our boarding passes and there was a computer and printer in the lobby that we could use. Then we didn't want to take all our luggage to our next destination Dubrovnic, so they offered to hold our luggage in their left luggage space for free. (we were going to do this at the airport and there is a fee for it.) when we returned our luggage was just fine. We then had to use them again and left our luggage there before our trip o Paris. They made our stay/short stop so nice and convenient. They even helped/instructed us how to get to the central city buy bus and which metro to get back which was only a few blocks away from the hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean. And very affordable. I would recommend this hotel, it was great!

Incredible hotel! Perfect, whether you are a business traveler using the nearby airport, or just a sightseeing tourist like myself. Free airport shuttle to-and-from Barajas Airport, and not too far from the Metro if you are wishing to go do some sightseeing. This hotel offers an excellent modern decor, tv lounge on all floors, complete with video games, and each room was very nice. Cleanliness was excellent, and very inviting. I was very pleased with my stay at Axor Feria. The front desk could have been a little friendlier, but I still recommend anyone to stay here. Truly unforgettable!
