Excellent location, close the Plaza Mayor and the Palace. Hotel is surrounded by good dining options.

Free Wifi throughout the hotel.

Breakfast is adequate, but can be a little crowded.

The first room we were shown had a sewage odor, but staff was able to accommodate our request to change rooms. I think problem is confined to rooms on the ground floor.

I stayed at this property for 5 nights. It's location is amazing, just across the street from Plaza Mayor and Mercado San Miguel. It is clean, modern and well suited for it's price. The laptop in the room was a first for me and not to mention FREE WIFI folks with a strong signal. The rain shower is just what the doctor ordered after a long day in the streets discovering this great city. The breakfast buffet is smartly priced and offers a great value if for some reason it is not included in the rate as was the case with me. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist with any request. I would definetely stay here again should my travels take me to Madrid in the near future.

the reception area and the first 2 rooms we were offered all smelt of sewerage. the hotel clearly has a problem with the drains.

the hotel is small, modern and clean, no bar and lacks space at reception. excellent location but all this pails into insignificance because of the dreadful smell. bedrooms modern and roomy

Clean, modern, well located, good breakfast. Absolutely worth the money!
My family and I stayed in this hotel in may 2009 for 4 days. We had a great time. Especially the location of the hotel is superb, very close to the city-life of Madrid.

This was our second time to stay here.
The location is excellent.
Jessica the receptionist was the friedliest I have ever met anywhere and so helpful. She spoke English fluently.
We were happy with our double room as it was on the 1st floor so she gave us the choice of a twin room on the 4th floor.
Thank you!
The showers were brilliant!
The only thing we didnt like was at breakfast it took forever to make a pot of tea, the water heater would only heat a small cup at a time.

Located two minutes walk from the square and not obviously placed. The staff were friendly and very helpful, although they seemed a bit cramped behind the tiny reception desk. The family room we had was excellent, a good size for two adults and children aged 11 and 8, clean and with good bunk beds. All the amenities were in good working order with the exception of the air conditioning. The wi fi and lap top in the room were a great bonus as it meant that the children were entertained when we were in the room. They had no trouble whatsoever operating the system! There is a night time only taxi rank outside and they, like every other city I know, think they can be as noisy and as objectionable as they like. All in all, a very comfortable small hotel, ideal if you are spending most of your time out viewing the sights of Madrid. It is basically a great place to sleep and the price reflects it. Good value for money. As I said, if you are there to see Madrid and are happy to be out most of the day and return to a comfortable bed and room, then this hotel is fine.
