Gibraltar's WWII Tunnels must be one of the most interesting places to learn about the history of the Second World War. Not only can you follow in the footsteps of many of the Allied leaders of the war, such as Churchill, Eisenhower, De Gaulle and Sikorski, but you can see where many ordinary men lived and worked to create these tunnels.
The knowledgeable guide was excellent in explaining everything there was to see. For people who have mobility problems it might be a little difficult but provision is made where necessary. One of the highlights is the view from the tunnels looking out over Gibraltar North Front, the airport and Spain beyond (photographed).
