“Good food, great location, friendly service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

We were a party of six, hosted by our friends who live in Sitges. They had called ahead to check that there would be a choice for me as the sole vegetarian in the party. Immaculate setting, overlooking the new port of Sitges, a friendly welcome. Good choice for veggies, I had the asparagus from Navarro, with aioli ( garlicky mayonnaise-mmm!) followed by the vegetarian paella. The waiter had asked if I wanted it cooked in a fish stock base ( no- but he had asked). It came in the iron dish and was delicious. I ate almost all of it.

Friends had oysters to start with ( outstandingly good- our local friend thought they would have come from Galicia), with fried baby calamari (very good). Main courses were arroz negro ( black ink from squid with pieces of seafood in rice, with lots of garlic- too much for one of us) with aioli ( good); seafood paella ( average). Local friends chose the sea bass ( excellent). Conclusion: fish and seafood are superior to the paella and rice dishes. Our local friend had sneakily paid, so we do not know what the damage was.

“A good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

A little noisy (because it is so popular) but offering first class seafood and steaks with good service. Located in the Sitges port, quite far from the city centre (ca. 20 minute walk). But worth this effort.

“NIce view, nice wine, wish the food were better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

It is a very nice setting along the harbor. We had a lovely bottle of wine, Ribera del Duoro, not too expensive. The food was OK but would have been much better if the paella was not so overcooked. The appetizer was a piece of toast, a clove of garlic to rub on it, nice olives, a few slices of salami, and half a tomato.

“Lovely meal in great setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We had an excellent meal here accompanied by a good bottle of Rioja. The setting is superb, right by the marina. Service was very friendly and attentive and the place was spotlessly clean, I had the thickest, juiciest steak that I have eaten for a long time. The fish also looked excellent.
Not the cheapest place in town but worth that little bit extra.

“Very enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

We are often disappointed when dining out but that was not the case here. Encouraged that Spanish diners were eating there, we sat at a pristine table and admired the beautiful view over the marina. The service was reasonably good and friendly - the food we ate was excellent - quite simple and plain but very delicious and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were generous and lunch was leisurely and unhurried. We thought it a bit pricey at around 85Eur for three courses for two but all in all a very enjoyable experience and would recommend.
