“Good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

The staff are helpful and pleasant, although they do struggle a little with English, but not enough to cause problems. I stayed in a rear room with balcony which wasn't huge but more than adequate for my 3 weeks stay. It is a mid range hotel and it does that well, it is a little dated but it's clean and has a nice atmosphere. It is quiet despite being on the beachfront.

The location is perfect and everything you need is near by.

The breakfast is good with excellent eggs and bacon, sausages and mushrooms plus the normal breads and meats and cheeses etc.

The bar isn't badly priced considering it is in a pretty busy tourist location. However there was no free bar or mini bar unless you are booked as part of a large party.

I would certainly go again - although I would have a front room if I was going on holiday.

Room Tip: The front balcony rooms have a great view - the rear balconies overlook another building only a few...

La Nina is located on the beach front with exceptional views of the sea. We didnt have a sea view, but if you pay extra you'll get your monies worth. As a hotel its fairly dated and mid-range, but its clean and the service was good. Its close to everything you need, shops and restaurants. You can also walk here from the train station in about 15-20mins. Breakfast was your standard spanish/hotel food, fruits, cold meats and eggs etc. Allinall it was a good price and did the job. Its not the Ritz but equally its not a Travelodge.

I came to Sitges to celebreate my 40th birthday, so the hotel decided to upgrade us to the top floor suite. what can I say ? Everything about this stay, the service, their restaurant, its location, etc..was just perfect.

Room Tip: book with a room with a "sea view". It's a bit more expensive, but the last thing you...

We stayed for 10 days in September. Booked their most expensive room for a sea view with balcony. Superior double I believe it was called?

Easy check in, able to leave our bags whilst room was being prepared, nothing was too much hassle. Our balcony was amazing, lovely view and intimate, only one other balcony on the opposite side and nobody ever sat there. Room quality is good, not amazing but good. It was a big room, standard bathroom etc. Beds felt a little hard to sleep on and took some getting used to.

BIG TIP: THE MINIBAR IS FREE AND RESTOCKED DAILY!. We were not aware of this we only found out after overhearing couple at breakfast tell the table next to them. Lets just say we took advantage from then on!

Breakfast tip: Go before 10am. After 10am it isn't really "replenished" so no more pastries and hot food if they run out etc. So get there early and you'll have a lovely continental breakfast with ease.

It seems the restaurant and sky lounge closes for winter from mid-Septemberish so be sure to book before then if you want to use any of those facilities. The sky lounge on the roof has a fab view of the coastline, plush seats, quite empty and a serviced bar, definitely was a big plus for our trip. Tried the restaurant once, it was nice, nothing amazing but good value for what was served.

It is very close to the gay beach (it is opposite it), which is good if you're a gay couple like us ;) The pool on the top is small but that is standard for Sitges. It certainly did well if you couldn't be bothered with the sea. Very close to the centre but nice and quiet. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Finally....the maid, whoever you were, you are amazing. She definitely has a sense of humour. I really REALLY liked the fact when we left DND on our door all day they still left a bag of fresh towels, toiletries etc for us to collect when we got home even though we asked them not to service the room during the day. Not had a hotel do this before, extremely welcome when you just want fresh towels but cab letting the maid in for the day to tidy up. Thankyou again!

Room Tip: Pick one on the first floor with a balcony for a great sea view.

Perfect Location. Stayed there for 3 nights. I took a room with a sea view and the view was awsome. The hotel is right next to the beach. Room was big, clean and well maintained. Little far from the railway station, better to take a taxi if you got big luggages. Service could be a little better. I didn't use the roof top pool. The restuarant offers a great spanish cusine and they are pretty fast in serving ! I ordered a duck roast and got it in 5 mins !

The location, right on the front was perfect for the beach and lively nightlife literally around the corner.

The rooftop pool with its view over Sitges is a definite novelty but it didn't seem much used when I was there

The hotel is remarkable peaceful day and night considering I was there on a very noisy week with thousands on the streets every night. I was not disturbed at all.

The buffet breakfast was good and available for a whole 4 hours from 7am-11am.

I had a room at the back without a sea view. It had a balcony, king-size bed, safe and air-con and was kept perfectly clean. There was a TV but I never even turned it on. You also get free wifi in your room - it was fast and reliable. It went down once but reception knew how to reboot the routers.
