date of visit - 19th june, party of 6. Terrible. When we arrived, waiter tried to squash another 2 places onto a table of 4, even though we had reserved a table, and one was clearly set for 6. Chef had to tell him to put us on the other table. Waiter also couldn't pronounce dishes ont he menu, and couldn't manage to take the orders for drinks and starters at the same time. He then refused to take the main course orders until we had our starters - 2 of which were late and one almost inedible. He kept apologising because they were so busy - only 3 tables occupied at that point, and none of them getting good service either by what we could see. 45 minutes for them to bring my drink - and they checked what I had ordered twice ( lassi - not exactly complicated to put yogurt and ice in a glass). We had ordered pilau rice to go with 3 of the meals, when plain basmati arrived, the waiter stood there straight faced and said they didn't do pilau rice, and didn't apologise when we pointed it out on their specials board. Further delays on the main courses, with the final one being delivered 15 minutes after the others and then half of it was cold! Presumably none of them know how to work the microwave properly either. Chef did manage to lok surprised when we sent it back, but no apology to speak of. Waiter asked if everything was OK, when we chorused "No" he just walked away saying "there's nothing I can do about it". They took off the cost of the main course I couldn't eat, and the drinks, but it was still overpriced, & portion size was reminiscent of nouvelle quisine in the 80's. All in all quite the worst restaurant experience after four years of living in Sitges, and I shall go back to cooking a curry menu of 3 starters, 3 mains, rice, naan bread and 3 desserts ( all from scratch)
, for 26 people all at the same time at home. It is far less stressful than eating here.
