“What a dissapointment!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

We went to this restaurant 1 year ago and got really good tapas at reasonable price (we rated it 4-stars then)....but what a set back. This year the portions are about half the size and the quality is no longer as high.

We ordered 5 tapas which last year was enough for 2 adults as a main course but this year it was like a starter! So you need to order 10 tapas (or 5 tapas as full plates).

“Modern tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

We walked by here every day and only tried it because we couldnt get into Pescadito up the street. we were very glad we did so as the food was excellent and different to the usual tapas. We had potatoes done with sausage and a kind of black pudding, squid on a stick, summer rolls, delicious jamon and more. The wine was great too. The place was hopping and we got the second last table on the street side. I will try it out when I go back to Sitges.

“Good tapas, lacks atmosphere.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2011 via mobile

We ate here after reading the reviews on this site. We chose the tapas menu which had a good selection. We started with the gazpacho which was a larger portion than we expected (it came in a bowl rather than the small glass advertised on the menu). We then followed if with a selection of tapas including patatas bravas which were the nicest and spiciest we have had so far. We also had the chicken croquettes, grilled vegetables, nachos and deep fried brie. All were good sized portions and very tasty.
The service was a little hit and miss as the restaurant was busy and there were only two staff and the manager. We sat outside on the street tables which was fine but the whole restaurant lacked atmosphere.
We chose a jug of sangria to wash the meal down which was reasonably priced and finished with a very nice chocolate cake.
The bill came to around fifty euros which was reasonable.
All in all quite a pleasant place and would go again but perhaps sit inside.

“Quality, service and price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2011

On passing we decided to go in where the manager promptly came over to give us his recommendations. He recommended the lamb shanks and he was not wrong.
The best shanks we ever had and would be good enough to be served in any top class restaurant.

“Quality tapas at a resonable price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2011

The tapas is really good and not that expensive (we paid 35 Euros for 5 tapas, 2 glasses og wine and a bottle of water). The service however seems a little inexperienced - the waiters forgot some of the basics for a waiter.
