We stayed in El Bosc for a couple nights whilst touring around Catalunya.

In essence El Bosc is a restaurant with a few rooms - it has only recently become a hotel. Our room was very tastfully, but simply, decorated and we had a lovely view of vineyards.

We recieved an excellent welcome for Jordi and Susan, the owners, who did everything they could to make our stay very pleasurable.

As the hotel is out of town (there is not much in town as Banyeres is very small) we ate both nights in the restuarant. The food was excellent, with massive portions, and very reasonable prices. There was also a pretty good wine list.

Jordi will arrange for guests to visit both small, local and the bigger vineyards. We choose to visit a local vineyard which was very educational, and the wine was very good!

The hotel has a swimming pool and sun terrace - however in my view I think they need to make the terrace more welcoming.

I would recommend this hotel if you want a short break from either the cities or beaches.
