“Comfortable and friendly with balcony overlooking the Rambla”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2011

We loved our newly renovated Large Room with private balcony. Our accommodations were very comfortable and also quiet considering we were located conveniently inside the old part of town. Our host provided excellent recommendations, and even held our luggage for us after we checked out so we could continue to enjoy our surroundings.

My wife and i stayed in this B&B for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Olga and Javi have made it extremely easy for us to settle in and even upgraded our room the day we arrived. A friendly atmosphere, great breakfast and awesome location are some obvious qualities of this place, but you will also find some very easy going owners, ready to help you out with anything you can throw at them :) Thanks Olga and Javi for making our stay in Girona memorable !! We ll definitely come back, with more family this time.

No regret booking this B&B at all! Location of the B&B is eas to find and approximately 10min walk from the train station. The owner of this B&B, Javier, is very hospitable. Breakfast provided is excellent and meet my expectation. There is free WIFI too!!! I will definitely come back to this B&B again....

We stayed here on the 7 Oct for 2 nights in the Rambla room 62euros a night. the location was excellent the location brilliant and the staff so very nice could not fault all round. The breakfast had no fresh bread which would of made all the difference just cheap white sliced bread i was so dissapointed and my husband said the coffee was ok not realy nice. but if any thing was to change that would be our only sugestions. We loved it and will stay there again if we return to Girona. we did not go to any other area except the old town which was so charming we just loved walking round. The train and bus station are ten minute walk away and it cost us 480euros to get to the airport how easy is that all in all we realy enjoyed and for the price compared to hotels this was so very nice and the Rambla room has the most lovely views which was next to the ensuite room so you choose but you wont have any complaints. I always have ear plugs as a lite sleeper and i slept soundly

I loved this B&B. I had the 'large room', which wasn't what I would call large, but very comfy all the same. It's the only room with an ensuite bathroom, which definitely was large, with a good shower. Best of all was the little balcony overlooking the pedestrianised main street and the river, with a flower market on Saturday morning. I was a bit worried it might be noisy at night, but the double glazing on the french doors meant I slept like a log. The only noise came from other guests opening / closing thier doors, but that didn't bother me.
Javi was delightful and Gerona was lovely. The location of the B&B is perfect, only 10 mins walk from the station, and less to the main sites of the old town. There's a great little market just across the river - perfect for buying bread / cheese / olives for lunch.
I particularly appreciated the fact that the room rate was significantly reduced for single occupancy - not always the case in hotels or B&Bs. All in all, a great experience. I'd return tomorrow if I could!

We liked this hotel. When we went we could only get the ¨small room¨ which is really small! It has a metal bunkbed so it was noisy when sleeping and moving. The walls were also really thin. It was a great place though!!! Breakfast was muffins, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea, homemade brownies and cake. Had a great time. Ladies- Hairdryer in the bathroom. Very central location in the old jewish quarter. Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.

I stayed here with my aged mum & Javi was helpful without being obtrusive. The building is pretty and well located, and the flat containing the rooms is sober, tastefully decorated and clean. Beds are simple but adequate. Breakfast modest but good.
