The service, the food, the vin de la casa and the prices here are all excellent. We came here twice and thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the friendly, personable service on both occasions.
Unfortunately, this restaurant is a block away from the main attractions (so you may not wander past), it's front entrance is not appealing (so you may not notice it's a restaurant) and the shape of the restaurant is thin and long with guests hidden away up the back (so you may decide not to drop in if you can't see anyone else eating here). And that's the only explanation I have for the very few guests that were there on both nights that we dropped in.
This is good Italian food served in nice surrounds at an excellent price, only the atmosphere of a buzzing restaurant is missing.
