On the Hotel: It is exactly what it reports to be, cheap friendly smallish rooms clean and a bargain breakfast at 7 euros.

7 of us (4 men 3 ladies between the ages of 42 and 59)stayed there for 2 nights 19th to 21st November for a intensive city break, (the city was fantastic and we will be going back). Fantastic tapas bar within 5 mins walk of the hotel, but dont go to Largada restaurant opposite the post office.

Didnt find it at all noisy and full website details found using google I was going to put email address here but Ive just read the rules.

Just as a note one of our party found the reception so comfortable that he fell asleep on one of the chairs for most of Sunday night!!

Can also recommend Girotransfer for airport transfers

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel and will recommended it to friends and family. It it very near the old city and the bus station.

The room was very spacious and spotless as was the hotel itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Sirs,
A group of 16 persons travelled today from Budapest to Girona and got reserves in the Girona Hotel Peninsular. I am trying to find out their email address and it is just impossible. And this in XXI. Century. There are lots of information, but no way to make a contact with this hotel. What is the reason of this ? Are they affraid of contacts or they just do not wish to be overcharged with another additional service for their guests ? And what to do, if some relatives from a guest wish to make an urgent contact ? Or we must learn that using this hotel communications are just not important ? Probably business people shall not use the hotel.

“Ideal Location”

I have now stayed in this hotel on two occasions and found it O.K. at the price. Ideal location for the city. No problems with it except it was a little cool last week. 09.11.2005 in the bedroom.
Would gladly recomend it to all my friends.

Would thoroughly recommend this hotel .Great location right on the edge of the Old Town and only a ten minute walk from the bus / train station.

Would certainly stay again .

Possible drawbacks ; noise / heat in summer.

Beautiful town.
