“Excellent Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Ate there twice in the last few days as it was so good. Highly recommend the sushi style tuna, peppered steak, patatas bravas and baby squid. Wine list is also excellent and drank a very good chardonnay from Penedes for under 15€. Service fast and furious but pleasant and you get a cheer from the staff for leaving a good tip!

“One of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

The atmosphere is welcoming and the environment is super clean. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The tuna steak was so delicious that I ordered it twice - yum!! Patatas bravas and pimientos al padron were perfectly cooked. The solomillo ( Sirloin steak) was excellent. Pan con tomate was the best I've ever had - delicious ......

We got there around 130pm and had no trouble finding space. I would recommend to find a seat at the bar - this way you can see all the delicious tapas pass you by and you can make a better decision on what to have. :-)

Go around lunch time or around 8p-830p before the place gets crowded.

“High Energy Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

I really liked this place. With seating at high top tables and around a counter that displays the evenings seafood and other offerings, this tapas bar has real energy. We had to wait 30 minutes for a seats. But the crowd on the stoop was sociable. Gave us time to study the menu (offered in English version if you like). On the list were excellent versions of traditional standbys. Try the codfish and seafood croquette - came with a "lick your plate" gravy! Or the flash fried peppers - just a splash of salt and no grease. But what stood out was the fresh seafood offerings - all kinds of langoustines, mussels, anchovies, etc. Matched with a nice bottle of cava, and no wonder everyone was in such a good mood.

“Worth the wait”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Arrive 'early' (before 2100) to minimise your wait. This is a great place. Good atmosphere, good music, good crowd, good food. I loved the jamon, the deep fried baby squid is a must and the rabbit cutlets were the most unusual (and tasty) on the menu. Put this on your list for Barcelona.
