Dined at Cuines Santa Caterina on a recommend from our hotel receptionist and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant doesn't take bookings and, if you wish to eat late at prime time (9.30 to 10.30), you need to be prepared to share a table and to queue. We chose to eat at 8.30 and did not have to wait. There is a buzz about the place which we found enjoyable, "casual frenzy" probably describes it as well as anything albeit we didn't feel rushed before, during or after our meal. The food is an eclectic mix of cuisines and everything was beautifully prepared and cooked. The wine list includes Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc which they sell for 26 euros, most restaurants that carry it in England ask £65+ for it, so if they've got it in stock, knock yourself out !
