Good food and a great selection of beer and wine. Traditional experience with a nice pleasant relaxing atmosphere.

“For lovers of canned and salty food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

All the food is salty and canned, there is nothing fresh. Ordered four tapas and paid 20 dollars, definitely overpriced.

“Truly Gourmet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Went to this place after looking it up on tripadvisor. The reviews are all pretty much correct. This is a gem in Barcelona and a must visit if you like your seafood. From the moment you order something till the moment you devour it, you will realize all the way that this is no average bar. They serve small tapas on a tiny plate. Each tapa is served on a small round toast, with toppings that specially go with each other in a typical gourmet chef-style. They are also a winery and stock really old good whiskies, wines and other spirits.

There is no English Menu. But the guy behind the bar is kind and helpful, so ask him to recommend something according to your dietary requirement. Personally, i'd give anything to get their salmon tapa and rose cava again !

“best tapas bar ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

The list of tapas was simply incredible and even if you don't understand the menu, there is a picture for every kind of tapas. The place is very social and the service is great. The place is full of packed with local people You cannot miss this bar during your trip !

“A gem indeed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

My partner found out this place as "real local tapas" and took me there. It was really small, full of locals standing, drinking and chatting. We didn't understand the menu, however you can see everything displayed in the counter. It's a family business, the daughter enthusiastically recommended a few things to us, and... they tasted heavenly. We also ordered two glasses of red and stood around one table, ate & drank just like locals. :) It's a place you sure want to go back again.
